"This is the first review I have ever submitted for a contractor. However, when a company offers this outstanding level of service they have more than earned a five star rating! After a severe windstorm damaged my roof, I called my insurance company and then researched / contacted several roofers in my area. As a result of so much damage most roofing companies were extremely busy. Walter Brown was the only one who had their staff working diligently to take calls, and somehow managed to fit me into their schedule even though they were inundated with emergency work. Two workers arrived as the rain started and tarped the damaged areas. Everyone at Walter Brown consistently replied to my emails and continued to stay in touch with me as we worked through the color selection and scheduling of replacing my roof. I researched brands of shingles before John Cisna came to my house to discuss the brand that they install. Finding out that they install the brand that I had found was the highest rated brand on the market confirmed that they had high standards both in the products they use as well as in the quality of work that they do. The crew who did the job was absolutely amazing, professional, courteous, and meticulous in making sure every detail of the roof was perfect. They completed the job in one day, and the young gentleman who went through the inspection checklist with me was thorough, and made sure that every detail was addressed to my satisfaction. "Frank is definitely not your typical contractor. He actually calls you back, emails you when you send him a note and texts back when you just need a quick answer to something. He's proactive with the timeline and finishes the job on time. From the moment my husband and I sent AMS an email, we knew he was going to be great - then I met him, and instantly liked and trusted him. When we weren't sure what to do with layout, floor choices/finishing options, etc. he was on point with his advice and we're so glad we listened to him.
We initially thought we could handle the electric (there were NO lights in the ceiling), but after further examination, we last minute decided to use his electricians - they were there the next day. What's great is that for each step in the project, he had a lot of guys just bust the work out. Most things were done within a day or two, and the 2-3 week timeline for everything, start to finish was spot on. 
We can't wait to tackle the kitchen next and throw Frank as much business as we possibly can. "Anthony Barrera is the owner of Toony-Touch, and he sets the tone for the people who work for the company.  You will find them courteous, very careful in handling your possessions, and honest.  You won't find anything missing when Tony-Touch's crew leaves your house  The company's customer service is excellent it caters to its customer's needs.  If you are like me, sometimes you think you want things done one way, and Anthony is very diplomatic about helping a customer to understand why the work should be approached differently.  I have never undertaken a renovation project before so we had several miscommunications about the work.   Once I explained to Anthony, that I needed to understand what might be involved in a project before it is done, he has helped me understand the things I needed to know to make good decisions.
The work is planned at the customer's convenience.  Don't want crews in the house on Saturday, or any day before 8? Tony Torch will accommodate you. Oh, did I say the paint job and is especially gorgeous and the tile on the floor and the walls of my master bedroom bath rocks?  I'll say it again.  They did it to the paint job to the designer's every specification, and Anthony designed the exquisite pattern of the wall tiles in the bath.
 Typically, the crew comes in with their equipment at the appointed time, if they are painting they move everything except the most fragile of items for you.  I had my closets painted, and that saved me time.  I could have saved more time, but like I said, I have undertaken this type of project and I wasted time packing or removing things that they were prepared to do.  Anthony, visited the house on a regular basis to inspect his crew's work."

"We previously used Ruxton for our bathroom remodel a few years ago and they did a wonderful job. We recently called them back to help us with improving our kitchen. We weren't sure if we wanted a complete remodel or just a refresh. Frank came in and gave us some great ideas and made it worth going with a complete remodel and design. He spent a few days doing the design and we met with him at his new showroom. As in the past, he did not disappoint. His design and ideas for our kitchen were great! My kitchen looks amazing! The work was completed on time and at the budget we were aiming for. The workers were on time and very polite. We would definitely recommend Frank and Ruxton to anyone interested in a new kitchen or bathroom. Thank you for another great job Frank!"

"Vince called me back within hours of my sending him a message through Angie's List.  Even though he does not list Montgomery County as one of his service areas, he was completely willing to help us out.  In my message, I had requested the work to be done onsite but Vince explained why having him pick up the generator and take it back to his shop to work on it would make more sense.  His charge for pick-up and delivery back to us was only $34.95.
When Vince came to pick up the generator, he was on time and was able to give me a ballpark cost for the work (which turned out to be very accurate).  He said that he could get it back to us in 3-4 days but I asked if he could do it faster as there was a snow storm predicted for the next day or so.  Vince agreed to a shorter time line and ultimately got the generator back to us within 1 day!  There ended up being no snow storm but we got our generator back in working condition - along with a booklet of care instructions, a copy of our invoice, and a service history form.  A few days later we received a hand-written Thank You card in appreciation of our business.  I can't imagine how the service could have been any better.  We will use Vince for any future small engine repairs/maintenance we have and highly recommend him and his services.
