"Whenever I hire painters from Kargmans, they consistently do excellent work regardless of the project type. As with all contractors, on-site communication before, during and after the project is the key to success. Randy and his teammate (apologies, I forgot to write down your name) started this work by doing some extra prep tasks that my husband had not been able to complete. When I pointed out the areas that needed small repairs or sanding, they got to work right away and handled these tasks in a very professional manner. When it turned out that I had gotten the wrong color paint for one of the rooms (which I discovered after they had already started to paint the closet), Randy told me that there were no problems. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
