"<p>Called Randy on Monday and he was able to come over same day and perform video isolation test to determine source of sewer leaks in cast iron piping below the slab. 3 effected area - kitchen, laundry and master bath.  Randy and crew performed repairs the following day that included jackhammer slab, digging to problem area  and performed repairs.  Very neat and took steps to limit dust. Crew had all the tools and worked very well together.   Following day they backfilled the holes and poured new concrete and leveled back to the existing slab.  </p> <br /> <br />"

"<p>We used C&C to inspection our home before purchase. They were the ones who found a slab leak and we were able to have that fixed by the previous home owner before closing. After closing we contacted them to install some new toilets, do a hydro jet of the plumbing lines, and help us with a hot water tank issue. Not al of these were done at the same time so I have had 3 different crews out to my home. Every single one of them were extremely professional, completing the job in a timely manner, and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my services. The wonderful staff at the office has been great to work with and so nice and helpful every time I called to schedule or make payment over the phone. Pete, the owner, even came out to inspect a problem I was having with my hot water tank. C&C is truly a family owned business but they also treat their clients that way as well. My family will never use anyone else but C&C from now on. </p> <br />"

"It went very well. We were kept informed about arrival time and the technician arrived when expected. He was very professional, courteous and transparent about the work to be performed and went out of his way to address small details including a drain pipe that was sagging slightly."

"Lonnie did a great job. Showed up on time, very professional. Explained the process, cleaned out the drain and then ran a camera down the pipe to make sure it was all done. Great Job and I would hire them again."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Gainesville, TX

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
