"Dan and Dylan are the best. Scroll through the reviews and this is apparent. I've been working with them for 5 years, and every encounter has been flawless. Always affordable, courteous, timely, trustworthy and professional. I will never use or refer another HVAC company. Stop looking for other providers and choose them. Thanks again!"

"Hello, Our air conditioner was leaking R22 gas and we decide to fill it one last time this season and that was a mistake. After paying PSE&G $500 to fill it, all the gas leaked out in a month. This is when my wife and I decide to get a new system. We looked at York, Carrier and Lennox. We decide on Carrier because of the quality and our last system lasted 22 years. They also have 25 year warranties on different parts. My wife and I went on Angi's and got quotes from 12 different companies. They ranged from 9K to 17K dollars to have our furnace and air conditioner replaced. The quote we received from AAC Heating and Cooling Services was in the mid 10K range and then we added an electric air cleaner to the system which put us in the low 11k range. We went with AAC Heating and Cooling Services because of their warranty and the fact that Adem was not a high pressure sales man. He told you what he was going to give you and let you make the decision. We had several companies that wanted you to sign that night and I not a person for high pressure sales tactics. AAC Heating and Cooling Services also warranty their labor for 5 years and only 2 other companies were better. Those companies gave us 10 year labor warranties but they were in the 14K to 17K range. You also had to purchase a yearly plan which would of added an additional $240 to $265 to the yearly bill. This was out of our budget. Adem also gave us a date and time the job would be done. Other companies weren't sure if they could get the parts in 2 to 3 weeks and couldn't give us a start date. When Adem and Chris came to do the work they were very polite and professional. They Laid out cloths not to damage the hardwood floors, rugs and bedroom furniture since my furnace was in the attic. When the air conditioner was installed they laid out a base of stone before adding the 3 inch pad down. Then put the air conditioner on that nice flat solid surface so it would never sink into the ground over time. Very professional and well done. The entire time I felt like I could talk to Adem and Chris, ask questions and get truthful answers. Also, the way wires were tied and the pipes were placed was very clean and professional. Nothing sticking out that you can trip on or bump into. It's been 2 weeks now since we had the new furnace and air conditioner installed and we couldn't be any happier."

"Kevin came out for us on Christmas Eve morning, taking time from his holiday. We'd just finally had our new washer installed, with clothes piling up, when the dryer went on the fritz. Kevin did an outstanding job, replacing the dryer vent to the wall, and repairing a disconnected outlet vent in the basement. The dryer now works like a champ, and we can finally winnow down that clothes backlog. A great job, greatly appreciated!

"Great, they were friendly and professional. I also had a crack in my windshield that needed to be replaced, they advised me of a person they use and the cost. No pressure to go with their provider. I chose to go with another glass company and I just had to return to get my inspection stickers put onto my new windshield.

" I called about 1 pm and he was here, at work, by 5pm!  I have used his services before and I knew he would do an excellent job on a complicated task, but I did not expect immediate service!
He blew out and vacuumed the duct.  He cleaned up all the lint and mess.  Once again, he was extremely pleasant and competently professional.  He tested the dryer and unfortunately, the thermostat apparently had been ruined by a high interior heat.  I will have to call Mr. Tim,  excellent appliance repairman.
Before we began with Keystone, we had been plagued by birds nesting in the dryer vent. The last time he was here, he installed a sturdy cage over the opening and we were pleased to see that no birds had invaded the duct.
He finished the job promptly and noted on the statement that the vent should be cleaned every year.  Now I know just how accurate his prediction is and I will try to get the call in before the dryer has suffered damage.
I am so pleased with his work, his attitude and his pleasant manner that I can recommend him without reservation   I will continue to rely on his service.

"They were great. They were the first ones here. The salesman was very knowledgeable. He really educated me on the whole process of what I was getting into and things I didn’t know. He told me pretty much how they sized up the situation. He told me what to watch out with other salespeople. He was very informative, and I appreciated it. He spent about a full hour at least or maybe longer with me. I had good feelings for them. We just decided not to upgrade our air conditioner at that time; that's what we were considering doing. With regard to price, they were the lowest. The reason was they offered a brand that was kind of an off brand but it was made by a more pricey brand. They talked about that. They said that they were going to offer us this name brand. They backed up their recommendation with information which showed that that name brand was equal to the pricier model. Basically, they were producing the same models but putting different plates on a lot of the units. So that's how they were providing savings. They were the lowest bid we got. I don’t know that they have all the superior support systems. We can pay up and get guys that will come on Christmas Eve and fix our air conditioner. They have maintenance plans to go with them. OMNI didn’t seem to be offering those. I don’t know that I would want one. They didn’t have the most exotic air conditioners to offer. But I thought it was a really decent offer. It was probably 90% of what I wanted. If I was to pull the trigger, I might go with them. The bid was around $4300 for the job. We had other bids all the way up to $8000. Some of these other companies were overbidding what we wanted. Most of the bids were in the $4000-$6000 range. I think OMNI was about the lowest. It was $4300 with tax and everything. I do think that there were some advantages to some of the other pricier brands. The quality was better but we have to pay for it. The OMNI product didn’t have a lot of the bells and whistles. If I wanted those, I would probably go with another brand.  The guy called me within twenty minutes or half an hour, and he was here that afternoon. He was a really nice guy and a really good salesman. He walked me through everything. He actually went on my computer and showed me how to look up stuff. It was just a real education. He was a really good guy. He was on time; I was very impressed with that. Other guys maybe wait like a week. He wasn’t; he was there that afternoon. I had to apologize. I had to tell him that we wanted to get some more bids before we make a decision, and we did. Our final decision was its not broke, let's not fix it yet. That's where we are. The guy was very professional. I would absolutely consider using them in the future."

FAQs for swamp cooler installation and replacement projects in Gilbertsville, PA

Swamp coolers are quite energy-efficient, using only 15% to 35% of the electricity that traditional central air conditioning units consume. This can lead to significant savings on your energy bills. However, keep in mind that swamp coolers require water to operate and may not cool your home as effectively in extremely hot or humid conditions. When considering overall efficiency, it is essential to weigh both electricity and water usage, as well as the cooling needs specific to your local climate.

Evaporative coolers only work in dry climates because they cool by moistening the air. If the air is already moist, this will have little to no cooling effect. Central AC is a better choice if you live in a humid climate, such as the Midwest, eastern, or western coastal regions.

To install a swamp cooler on a roof, a local HVAC specialist will first find and cut a spot free of wiring and obstructions. They’ll then install metal bracing, legs, brackets, the ceiling duct register, ductwork, power, and thermostat wires. Once installed, they’ll seal all openings, attach duct connections, and install a thermostat. Before leaving, they’ll run cool water piping to the unit and inspect all the connections.

The cost to repair your swamp cooler ranges from $50 to $600, depending on the issue, whether new parts are needed, and the chosen repair service. Depending on the type of pad your system uses, you will need to change out the pads every one to three years for proper operation. When budgeting for the cost to repair a window unit, expect to pay around $230.

The U.S. Department of Energy states that swamp coolers can cool a single room by five to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. However, this largely depends on the size and installation method of the evaporative cooler. You can only achieve these results in a dry climate, such as the American South, as it’s easier to cool rooms in humid environments with central air.

Swamp cooler water usage varies depending on the size of the unit. Smaller evaporative units may use one gallon per hour, while much larger units could use up to 15 gallons of water per hour. Most homeowners can expect their unit to use between seven and 10 gallons of water per hour of usage.
