"My experience with Jose L who did the work was great. He was prompt, professional, friendly and helpful. He was patient with my questions and showed clear dedication to delivering a quality experience. I would rate him straight As across the different categories. Scheduling the service was a different story. I'd grade that a C at best, maybe D. After multiple emails and phone calls that were not returned we finally got someone on the phone and scheduled the service, but they still couldn't provide us full information on the estimated cost of a simple repair. On top of that, it was a 6 week wait for someone to come out. We've been happy with Shavitz in the past but this was a bad experience. We're on their maintenance plan so we hope that will mean better service in the future."

It was a clogged drain tubing that had to be excised and repaired. I also saved 15% by mentioning that I used Angie’s List to find them."

There was a mix up with payment up front, which costed about 35 minutes, but it was resolved and customer service said they would resolve this for future customers. If you plan to use multiple payment methods, my recommendation would be to have a backup plan or call the front office to arrange things before installation."

"My air conditioner was not blowing out cold air. This company called first....Ok, don’t get me wrong, the guy they sent out was extremely nice. BUT I feel like I was being taken advantage of. They were trying to charge me $650 to tune up my furnace. When I rejected that, he said they can fix the problem for $280 plus a $70 diagnosing fee. The diagnosing fee was not applied to the final invoice which I think should apply especially if you hire them to do the repair. My air conditioner is working now but I’m not confident that it wont go out again in thee months. Hoping that whatever he did will last the rest of the summer and I’ll deal with it next Summer."
