Small jobs welcome
"Highly recommended. I had a simple repair of a leaking kitchen sink faucet. I did not have the proper tools or expertise for the job. I was very satisfied with JD Service Now. The dispatcher was prompt and professional. They called me before the plumbing technician arrived with an ETA. The tech arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything before doing any work. He not only fixed the leak quickly but also made sure I know where and how to operate the water shut off, Checked the water pressure into the house and the pressure relief valve on the water heater. The rate was relatively reasonable for a 20 minute call; at least compared to estimates for the other 2 companies. I will keep this companies number in my phone contacts for future home repairs."

"Tim was outstanding. He called before arriving. He took a look at our system and made the necessary repairs. He also provided general maintenance to our water treatment system. Tim quickly assessed the problems and was very professional throughout the time he was here. I highly recommend this company for water treatment needs."

"The representative from Modern Plumbing took pictures, explained possible sources and how to figure out the source from use. Once the source was found, described the repair and had it done in 20 minutes with a minimum of fuss. Very impressed with the detailed explanation throughout this issue. FYI, this was done via my Home Warranty, so the cost is not indicative of the actual charges."

"My water heater went out nearly two weeks ago the night before we took a week long trip. Since we had another place to take showers, we got the company we use for other ac/heating service to shut down the water heater and also got a proposal from them which was around $2200 for a water heater of the exact make (State) as the one which went bad.
After reading some water heater reviews, we decided we'd prefer a Rheem, so didn't use the first service provider.
We got a quote from another plumbing co which was roughly the same (only about $150 more) as the Water Heater Experts quote, but saw in Angie's List that they only had a "B" rating.
Seeing that Water Heater Experts had an "A" rating and specialized in water heaters, I called them and discussed our needs with them to see what they had to say.
Unlike the other plumbing company, they did not try to "upsell" me in any way. In fact, they did more of a "downsell" and probably lost out on what would have been a few quick "sucker" bucks (not really, I'm not that gullible).
Anyway, from my discussions with both the boss and the installer, I decided to just get the basics done and see how well this higher rated Rheem water heater performs. Their labor guarantee made that a comfortable decision.
Also, I learned from them that a few simple things like regularly draining the water heater once a year or so could prolong the life of the water heater (and that the problem isn't necessarily a bad water supply, as another plumbing co tried to sell).
My old "State" brand heater started leaking after 8 years use. Oddly enough, though, Water Heater Experts told me that my old water heater was actually BUILT much longer ago and showed me how to determine this based on model/serial numbers.
Since I have rental property with the identical brand (only 40 gal instead of 50), I checked and found that it is also MUCH OLDER than I had thought.
I'm planning to drain that tank soon to see what kind of goo comes out.
Great service, good advice, good prices, and a better warranty on labor than the other guys I checked.
And if I ever need a replacement (maybe for the rental), I'm DEFINITELY calling the Water Heater Experts AGAIN.

"Sean McGayhey is the most knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and selfless (yes, i said selfless) plumber my husband and I have ever had the good fortune to work with. I cannot recommend him highly enough. We came home from a trip overseas to a home with no water. We called two other plumbers with no response, then due to a stroke of good fortune and thanks to other solid reviews from Angie’s List we found Sean via Able Sewer & Drain Cleaning. Why is Sean so great? 1. We received a return phone call within minutes of leaving a message. On a Saturday morning, early. And he was fighting a cold. 2. He helped us trouble shoot remotely first to eliminate minor issues: this saved us an immense amount of time and money. Time is money when you are dealing with no water! 3. Sean is so passionate about what he does and thoughtful, he went the extra mile to ask about pipes and hoses connected to the home. This was not our immediate issue, but we are so grateful he thought ahead for us. Who does that? He did.... 4. He suggested ways and means for us to prevent future problems that extend way beyond just running a faucet during extreme cold temperature. Ways to protect our well. The bottom line is Sean and Able Sewer and Drain Cleaning have earned four thumbs up and 10 star-rating from us for being an amazing company who does what they say they are going to do and do so with intelligence, compassion and a sense of urgency. We feel that he went over and beyond due to knowledge and passion for his work. Thank you Sean!"

"Tim did a great job with the replacement of our water heater. Even though it was the day after Thanksgiving he moved some of his other appointments around to come to our home that afternoon. Tim and his assistant were careful to put on shoe covers in the house and to observe COVID 19 precautions. The job required more complicated plumbing since we have a desuperheater loop from our geothermal heat pump that connects to the water heater; the additional charge for this work was minimal. Tim was here until after 5:00 that evening, with the result that we had hot water over the weekend."
