He installed a product called enduroshield (sp?). It works as promised. Water beads right off of tile and grout, it's amazing to watch. Allen also gave good advice on how to preserve the existing tile. Would definitely hire him again."

"Emailed company for an estimate to repair or replace some interior doors. Got a prompt reply and set up a time for the appointment. The owner assessed the job and told us that repair was all that was needed, not replacement. He also gave us some insight into a future job that we are considering and could consider the company for. The repairs were able to be scheduled within a week and the job was well done. Only snag was a little mix up in the time that the job was to start, but this was very minor. Overall we are very happy with the experience. We very much appreciate the experience level of the people we dealt with (Jim and Tom).

Initially we contacted him to replace some 65yr old windows, and he was the only contractor to bring to our attention that we had hail damage on the window wraps, siding, gutters, and roof. His experience really helped us thru the insurance claim process and it ended up being a huge cost savings for us. "Vlad was great! We had 2 old through the wall air conditioners that weren't working and needed to be replaced. The air conditioners weren't installed properly by the previous owner of the house. Vlad installed the supportive sleeves that the air conditioners seat into. He also put the very heavy units into the sleeves himself! I was very impressed with the quality of work he did. He trimmed and sealed the 2 sleeves in the walls and they look great. He is very skilled and knows what he is doing. He was a very nice person and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire Vlad again!"

"Fantastic. I had another company there to remove and replace the laminate kitchen counter and old sink with a new granite kitchen counter and new sink. The kitchen counter people that were sent did not know how to remove a garbage disposal or reverse osmosis kitchen sink faucet but this company did in just a few minutes. This company and I went together to a large hardware store chain to shop together to get all the things we need for the list of repairs I had. They showed me the TYPES of items to pick out and I picked out the style I wanted. No other construction/cleaning company would go with the property owner and shop together but did. They did a lot of the work listed above in the just the first day. They did an EXCELLENT job, worked quick, knew what they were doing (they also removed the garbage disposal and water filter system better than the kitchen counter top company), and they did a lot of the work listed above in just the first day. I will use them for my own home and also my rental properties (apartment building, single family homes)."

"Everything went well. Our chimney was cleaner than we thought. We talked with the technician about how we get smoke coming into our home when we light a fire, even with the flume wide open. (We thought the chimney was dirty or clogged, causing this). Turns out, it has to do with how the angle of our roof meets the chimney. He said there's nothing really to do but crack a window when we have fires. It was great to learn this additional information.

I highly recommend Hal and Garden Structures and More for backyard fencing projects.  Hal listens to me and designs structures that match my tastes.  He provides me with guidance and suggestions that are truly helpful.  I don't spend any time managing Hal's projects or checking his work as I know that Hal has such high standards for his work.  Hal is very good at communicating with me.  I always know the status of a project because Hal has always contacted me before I can even thing about calling him.  In the end, Hal makes it really easy for me to get projects completed, which is something that I value in a contractor.  As an aside, Hal's skills and reliability extend to interior projects.  Hal has built two stair cases, refinished bathroom walls and ceiling, and completed other projects for me.  Hal is very knowledgeable, reliable, and skilled about interior projects.  Again, I highly recommend Hal and Garden Structures and More.
