"I hired them to lift the concrete pad of our garage to level. We leveled our garage floor so that the subsequent new garage doors would meet squarely with the garage floor. Stabil was professional, effective, communicated clearly - even through unexpected surprises, and very courteous. Their cost was reasonable compared to another company, and the whole process was far less hassle, mess and cost compared to tearing up and pouring a new concrete pad. I would highly recommend."

"Austin Wells handled our sinking concrete pad and cracks near my garage. He explained everything, neat, and very professional. My wife and I appreciated how he wore a uniform and conducted himself in as an expert in his field. I would definitely call JES again, in particular, Austin Wells to handle any other concrete leveling issues."

"My sidewalk had one section that settled, and created a tripping hazard. Rather than destroy the pad, and pour a new section of concrete. I hired Stabil Solutions to use polyurethane foam technology to raise the pad. It was a perfect job, nice even walk way. The foam works fast, and fills any voids that may be under the pad. If you have a driveway section, or walk way that is not level, this is a great way to save money and time without creating a huge construction project...no messy bags of concrete. Consult Stabil Solutions."

"Workman took three days to shore up the foundation of this very old garage. He was polite, and did a nice job. Estimates from several providers were all over the map, since some recommended extensive work involving the use of helical piers, and installation of a new concrete block foundation. I went with more conservative repair.. It looks fine, and I hope I made the right decision."

"<p>Week of 4/13/2015<br /> <br />Last winter was exceptionally harsh for our area. We had a concrete block basement wall start to bow inward due to water freezing under a large patio. John & his Allmaster team worked in concert with a licensed structural engineer to place a set of steel I beams against the wall to stabilize and ultimately completely straighten the wall.</p> <p>The engineering design required the I beams to be on footers under our basement slab. </p> <p>While the basement slab was excavated we also had a drainage system installed. The job went very well & smoothly. John's team took care to erect plastic dust barriers so the basement did not get dirty from the concrete work.</p> <p>The wall stabilizers used by John were of superior quality compared to those used other contractors. See Richtech Industries (http://www.richtechindustries.com).</p> <p>This was a very involved job that went very well.</p> <p>We should note that Allmaster offers a lifetime guarantee on the waterproofing drainage system and a 25 year guarantee on foundation work both transferrable to the next owners.</p> <p>Update:<br /> <br />John stopped by 9/2/2015 to tighten the I beams and all appear completely straight.</p> <br />"

"Work was wonderful.  Employees are friendly, knowledgable, efficient and considerate to areas of my home and property where they are not working.  Outside bushes and plants were covered or blocked with plastic and my interior walls were draped in plastic to cover even the floor and furniture when they painted my ceiling."

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house.  My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats.  They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house.  Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough.  It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway.  It seemed really fast to me.  The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano.  We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors.  Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house.  They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down.  A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots.  We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement.  We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation.  While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house.  The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision.  Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared.  Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements.  We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement.  We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013.  It's been a long process, but well worth it.  Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Grasonville, MD

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
