Stephan came out the day after we called, to give us the bad news that the unit was so old, no replacement parts were available so the whole thing would have to be replaced. Not really surprising given the age of the unit. He also showed me where the water heater (of similar vintage) was corroding around the outlet pipe, so was also in need of replacement. Kris came out within a couple of hours to look over the house and recommended a couple of options. We were leaving town so installation was delayed a couple of days; otherwise we could have had everything done within 48hours of the initial call. The crew that showed up to do the installation (sorry I forgot your names) showed up promptly at 8AM, worked throughout the day, and left our basement cleaner than it started out."

"I purchased a new Navien NPE-240A2 Tankless Water Heater and had it installed. I'm loving the new water heater. It replaces an old Noritz tankless that died just before this installation. The on-site estimate was what sold me. Ken went through all the details and answered a lot of questions from me. Zachary came out with Austin and performed the installation just like I discussed with Ken. Zachary kept me in the loop throughout the installation to ensure I was in agreement with how it was going. Zachary always had my interest at heart and ensured no corners were cut. The installation is much cleaner, and more correct than the previous tankless company did. Zachary even listened to my concern about the astectics of the exterior exhaust and quickly found an easier and cleaner looking way to address my concern. He also removed an old recirculation pump and replaced a new main house shutoff valve. The entire area was treated respectfully and left cleaner than they found it."

"Mark and his guys helped us install a new AC last summer. They arrived on time and did a great job! So when I was looking for someone to do the maintenance of our furnace, I called them. Todd went above and beyond my expectations. He finished the job and even helped fix my hinge. Both Mark and Todd strike me as very genuine people. And I would definitely hire them again!"

"Our Heat pump was not providing cold air so I called for a repair person to come out and fix it. Evergreen was able to provide me same day service which was impressive and the tech Alec Smith was very professional and skilled. He had the main issue diagnosed within probably 20 minutes and had a replacement part on hand. My complaint with Evergreen and this is probably common throughout the industry is the markup they put on those replacement parts. I needed a dual run Capacitor for which I was charged approximately $175 dollars. After doing a little research I found that this is a $21 part from Grainger or Amazon. That's one **** of a mark-up. I can tolerate a mark-up because of the convenience but I feel 800% is excessive."

"A couple of weeks ago during the cold snap, my furnace died. I had a handyman friend look at it and he believed I needed a new blower motor. I called multiple companies trying to find someone to do the repair. This was on a Thursday and it was already 55 degrees in my house with snow in the forecast. Every place I called was more than happy to send a sales person out that day to sell me a new furnace but no one had a repair person that could come out before the next Monday or Tuesday. Grrrrrrr. I came SO close to buying a new furnace because I didn't know what else to do. Then I found AirPros on Home Advisor. The person who called me knew exactly what repair I needed and said he could have a service tech out between 2-4 that afternoon. When Jerry called to say he was on his way he had already researched where to find a blower motor for my particular, (old) furnace and was apologetic that he couldn't get the parts and do the repair until the next morning. Then he suggested that a smaller part that he already had, may be able to fix the problem. He was at my house before 2 pm and replaced that smaller part. 15 minutes later and for $225, my furnace was fixed. Jerry was kind, efficient and very knowledgeable. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I will need a new furnace, probably in the near future, and guess who I'm going to call? And I have been singing AirPros praises to everyone I know."

"Joseph was very responsive in scheduling a time to come out troubleshoot the problems are were having. The day he and his team member arrived they were able to quickly identify and fix our electrical issues. In addition to installing armored conduit and getting dead power outlets up and running again, he replaced our 10+yr old smoke and carbon detectors at a very reasonable price. Joseph and his team are very professional and do great work."

"Broker wanted me to get inspection. Was not able to contact the original installer, so my broker recommended Southwest Plumbing. First appointment no show service man got into a job that occupied his whole day. Second appointment missed because service man sick. Finally showed up for third appointment. Congenial and wore mask when he arrived. Said it would be $550 for the inspection. It took fifteen minutes. No parts or anything. Just labor. Easy access. The service person came back upstairs wearing the mask to only cover his mouth, not his nose."

"G&S Heating is the best of the best! They just replaced our 1995 Lennox furnace that they installed with a 2020 Lennox furnace. The crew was phenomenal in craftsmanship and attitude. Our furnace is in the tight crawl space under our home which is a pain in the @#*! They really worked well together and it was so cool to learn that one of the guy's father had installed our furnace back in 1995 and he is still with G&S! Their entire operation focuses on customer service and satisfaction from the phone contacts to the sales reps to the job planners and finally the installers! "In June of this year I contracted with a large company to install a new heat pump at our residence.  While overall I felt they did a fairly decent job there were at least three instances of inconsistent service, attention to detail and disappointment.  The most disappointing aspect of that company's performance was when it came time to "test" my existing insulation and duct work.  I believed there bid to correct my existing ducts and insulation was outrageous.  That said, I was in between a rock and a hard place.  I had just installed a $12K heat pump and I feared any efficiencies I may have gained could be lost due to my existing ducts and insulation.
I contacted 5 companies to provide me with bids, in addition to the upsell price I was previously provided by the company I had install the heat pump.  All five companies are listed on Angie's List.  They all provided fairly consistent bids.  They all helped educate me on what I may need to resolve my existing duct and insulation issues.
Daniel was the final contractor I spoke with.  He showed up early afternoon, looking a bit haggard, as if he had just emerged from a crawlspace - he had.  I was somewhat tentative at first, but I knew I had found the right man for the job the minute he began outlying in detail everything he saw, what he would recommend, how he would address my specific issues and what it would cost.  He was upfront from the get go, wanting to work with my budget and my timetable.  
Daniel and his team showed up three days later and worked 12 hours on a Saturday in 85 degree heat, completely insulating the crawlspace of a 2,000 sf home.  He was back the next day to finish up, working another 7 hours, again in 85 degree heat.  He pointed out certain issues he found along the way, specifically some holes that needed patching with mesh and sealing all gaps in my flooring from the crawlspace.  He sealed all the ducts, adding screws where necessary.  He even sealed the holes drilled by the company who installed the heat pump (one example of their service inconsistency).
Daniel is an extremely hard worker.  I have the utmost respect for his abilities and would recommend him to anyone looking to have any type of crawlspace / insulation work done.  Sure, shop around, talk to the various companies on Angies List, get educated and then do what I did, call Daniel last, negotiate a price and get the job done right.

"I've used Seatown for several different service calls. By far the most major one was a partial rewire that replaced some knob and tube wiring. There are several reasons why I view the as an excellent company: - Their administrative and dispatch system is efficiently and competently run. Phone calls during business hours are answered quickly (I've never been on hold for more than a minute or so), they usually have good availability, and the phone operator takes plenty of notes during your phone call which are then communicated to your technician who then has ample context on your problem right up front. - All of the technicians I've worked with have been friendly, communicative, and professional. It always seemed like they know what they're doing. Also, they will patiently explain to you what's causing your issue and what they did to resolve it. - I want to particularly call out Micah, the technician in charge of my rewire project, who was outstanding. He initially came out to diagnose why a couple of circuit breakers were constantly tripping, and identified the need to rewire my garage, office, furnace, and one bedroom. He wrote me an estimate, which I later compared to other companies' and turned out to be quite reasonable. Between my shopping around and heavy holiday demand, it wound up being a few weeks before the rewire was completed. In the intervening time, the circuits tripped a few more times. When I notified Micah of this, he offered to personally come over to further troubleshoot the problem - on Christmas Day - despite Seatown being closed! Micah also found a way to complete the rewire with almost no interior drywall damage. Finally, he was particularly helpful in answering my many questions about my home's electrical system, both before and after the rewire. Micah's combination of professional competence and personal empathy is very uncommon and exemplary. If you hire Seatown for any major electrical work, try to get Micah as your technician. While I am overall very satisfied with Seatown, there are a couple areas that I think could be improved: - At one point between Micah's initial estimate and the start of the rewire project, the circuit connecting my furnace gave out. This was on December 23rd, and I was concerned about my house not having heat. I e-mailed Seatown's emergency mailbox requesting someone come out requesting emergency service, but did not receive a response until December 27th. The office being closed for the holidays is completely understandable, but if you're going to have an emergency mailbox then you should be able to respond to it promptly 24/7, or at least have some kind of auto-reply that sets expectations on when a human can respond. - For relatively minor calls, their service visit fee is quite inelastic relative to the work that is actually done. By which I mean, I've paid about $300 every time they send an electrician out (other than the rewire), regardless of whether they did significant work like replace damaged, bare wire in my breaker panel, or just tell me not to use a space heater. It probably evens out in the long run, but each service call is a bit of a crap shoot on whether I'm going to feel like I got my money's worth. It seems to me to make more sense to charge a lower up-front visit fee, but then charge additionally for specific services rendered."
