"I was very happy with the work being done initially. Leo was very attentive, followed up along with Doug the business owner checking up on the work being done. Felt very good about my decision. Late in getting gutters installed but was done 3 weeks later (maybe that is normal). First rain finding a lot of water running down my facia between the gutter and facia. Very responsive initially to that problem but 3 weeks later, now finding company out of business. Business phone mail box full. Called office clerk finding out she left 3 weeks ago along with Leo leaving me high and dry!!! This sucks!!!"

"Everyone I interacted with were pleasant, polite, helpful, honest and very professional. From the initial sales call, to the finished product, I was well pleased. What a great small company and I would recommend their services to anyone who would like to have their home painted permanentally!"

"Dustin and his team did a great job on my deck. They made sure that we were happy with the outcome and we are. I would hire him again for my next project. He took my idea and made it a reality."

"The rep that came out was young, but very knowledgeable of general mechanical, electrical and home maintenance skills.  He knew exactly how to appropriately position and attach the ceiling rack to the ceiling joists in the garage (they were hidden because of the garage ceiling) so that it would be firmly mounted and hold it's specified weight.
I had tried fixing the storm door from rubbing on the door jamb with no success.  He was able to fix this problem by driving screws into the edge of the storm door itself at the point of binding to pull it closer to it's internal wood frame.
Reversing the position of the electrical switches was a simple task for him.
He was very polite, pleasant and respectful the entire time at my house.  The $65.00 fee was an Angie's List special for two hours of work.  He finished in exactly two hours and did not waste any time.

FAQs for carpentry framing installation projects in Grovertown, IN

Both steel and wood can last over 100 years with proper care. However, wood could rot or warp when exposed to moisture, whereas galvanized steel is rotproof, insect-proof, and much more fire-resistant. Steel is friendlier to the environment as it doesn’t require cutting down trees, and the frame can be recycled. The energy-efficiency rating of metal stud framing can be higher than conventional wood construction. Metal studs are easier and quicker to install.

Whether you’re using wood or metal stud framing, follow the “16 on center” rule, meaning you should have a stud every 16 inches. A 20-foot wall spans a total of 320 inches. This works out to 20 spans of 16 inches, plus one starting stud, for a total requirement of 21 studs to frame a 20-foot wall.

Drywall installation costs $1.15 to $2 per square foot on metal stud framing or $2,300 for an average 2,000-square-foot house. The total cost for metal framing and drywall ranges from $20 to $30 per linear foot. Metal frames often seem light, but they can be exceptionally strong once drywall or sheathing is attached.
