They said it probably wouldn't be that high, and they will bill the insurance company. They billed my insurance company " USAA " 28,648.07 (10717.60 more than the original estimate). When USAA said they wouldn't pay it, they told them that they had made a mistake in billing, and the new bill was 22,577.54 , which once again USAA said was too much. USAA hired an independent 3rd party to review everything, and they would pay would be 11392.51 and they mailed a check to me for that amount. Servmate told me that this is a game they play with insurance companies. Servmate pointed out some other cost they had and USAA paid an additional 888..15 which they still wouldn't except. They told USAA the least the they would except was 22,577.54. USAA wouldn't pay, and they said they would take 18,000.00. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM "

"I would strongly advise against hiring A Production Construction for any construction project.à   They failed to communicate effectively about delays, didn't even show up on several occasions, when they did show up didn't even put in full days and took numerous breaks.à   They left both of my bathroom renovations with shoddy workmanship, including uneven drywall and flooring, poorly finished painting to include paint splatters on walls and ceilings, tile flooring that is separatingà  because they failed to secure it properly and grout it correctly.à   They have no clue what they are doing and shouldn't even be operating as a business!à   à  Despite repeated attempts to address the issues, they were unresponsive and refused to rectify the problems.à   They are only concerned with getting paid while not providing quality work in turn.à   I am now left with a costly mess and huge headache.à   Stay far away!"

"Lesson learned. Always get an estimate. BEFORE the work is done. At least a digital copy. Arrangements for the project were made, with some one named Lynn, for the company to send someone to complete the work. We were quoted over the phone 4500-5000 which included a mold test. A sub contractor with an entirely different company (National Mold Company) was sent. When the contractor arrived, he stated that the job would be much more simpler than first thought. This led us to believe that the job would cost less, no. All said and done, they charged $5500. All said and done, it's almost like no work was done. The stains and the smell are still there. Only one actual board was taken upon the attic room. The ceiling in the bedroom was primed and painted but are still visible and have a funky smell. At this point I'm going to. Do what we should have done; Do the job ourselves. Just now with $5500 less dollars in our pockets. A detailed receipt was not given even though it was requested."
