The unit is now working perfectly thanks to Steve's persistence. A bonus: Airco charged me for only a small portion of Steve's time from his initial visit. They ate the cost of his additional visits! These guys are golden.

"I am a long time customer who pays Rodenheiser a monthly fee which covers annual maintenance and some priority in the event of any necessary repair required. I had an a/c compressor failure. I had to wait 3 weeks to have a technician visit and tell me that the unit’s motor was dead and the compressor needed replacement. Then, after ordering a new compressor, which was available within 3-4 days I was scheduled for an installation 3+ weeks later. I had to complain strenuously and threaten to cancel the order to get the installation moved forward to within 10 days.
