"Overall the installation process was good. One major error the technician did. After installation he ignited the gas without filling water in the tank. We heard some cracking noise and he rushed to shut down the gas. Hard to see what damage happened inside. I assume the glass liner inside the tank probably cracked and it would impact the product life beyond warranty. I expected the technician to tell me the mistake and ensure me there is no problem due to the error but he did not. Other item was they damaged dry wall while moving the old heater outside from basement. I am not worried about the drywall fixing but worried about the possible internal liner cracking."

"He arrived on time both for the estimate visit and for the installation the promised day.  Quickly went to work and had both the diagnosis and then the repairs completed efficiently without fuss.  When completed, he took all debris to my trash cans, and even closed the lid.  Left the job site in a pristine condition.  He was friendly, expansive, cheerful and pleasant.  We will definitely use him any time we need plumbing services.  The price he quoted after a discussion of our needs and the product level we desired, was the price he charged.  There were negative surprises.  He not a discount plumber; he is a professional plumber.

"Washer and dishwasher both drain through this line.  Had started to notice some backup into laundry sink when dishwasher running.  Was doing laundry one day at same time  dishwasher draining and the sink totally backed up--nothing would drain.  Emptied water from sink and could see nothing blocking.  Called and they scheduled to come out promptlly.  Using cleanout, the technician snaked the line well past the next drain connection.  Problem solved and things have been draining well since.  Technician was knowledgeable and offered advice about the drains and usage given the type of pipes and their age.  This was about the 3rd time we've used this service for some drain and they've always been prompt and helpful.
Should note that the Dearborn company address shouldn't prevent people from calling--I'm over an hour away from Dearborn and no problem getting service.  I believe they have technicians throughout the area.
