"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. After a beyond horrible experience with one of the Airport endorsed (shared) Van Services about a year and a half ago, I did not want to go with them again (or ever again for that matter!) and looked for an alternative on Angie's List.

Michael answered my phone call and arranged the trip for the following day confirming it by text message right away after I had send him details like my name, address and pick up time in the same way.

He himself showed up 5 minutes ahead of time in a big, clean car (with excellent AC on a above 90 degree humid day!), gave us all the time we needed to get ready, helped with stowing and unloading the luggage and gave us a very smooth ride to the airport.

Kurt Randell was awesome! This was a major decision and I had multiple estimates to comb through. I was so unsure of what work should be performed and there's always the matter of cost. Kurt answered my million and one questions. I never waited long for a response. He was very patient with me and walked me through the process. When discussing what work will be conducted for what price, he told me he would love the contract but he could only go so low because he would not cut corners to give a lower price. That spoke volumes. Many contractors bid low and cut corners to make their profit. Very impressive.

AHS was able to start the work before other contractors were available. Kurt explained his schedule and had a contingency plan in case it snowed. The day the work began, I went to work without worrying about what work was being performed at the house (the house was empty). Kurt called me at the end of the day and went over the details of the work completed and the plan for the next two days. He did this each day. We pre-planned a time to meet at the completion of the final work. Kurt walked me through the whole house and answered my many questions. I was so relieved to have the work complete. When a new problem surfaced during and after the remediation, Kurt took care of it very reasonably and quickly. There was no hassle. He never tried to charge absorbent fees because I had already settled on him. I appreciate his help and support and for not taking advantage of the situation. I had a third party inspector inspect the work and I received a mold clearance letter.

AHS gave me a package deal easing the stress of me having to call multiple contractors to complete the work. His roofer installed better shingles than another roofer and for the same price. I really appreciated AHS taking care of all the needs so I did not have to coordinate times and entry with the various parties. This also allowed the work to be done quickly opposed to waiting days or weeks for each contractor to complete their portion based on schedules.

I can't be more please with the service I received from AHS. The paperwork was smooth, no problem with payment processing and no problems during the remediation and post remediation actions. I will definitely refer AHS.

Every month he checks out my computer via the Internet and scans for anything malicious and looks at the overall function, and now I can rest easier knowing that Jim is watching over my computer's health. In today's world, you may feel like there is no one you can trust with your computer, your data, your personal financial info, or even your identity, but Jim is one person that you can indeed trust.
