"My experience with Jose L who did the work was great. He was prompt, professional, friendly and helpful. He was patient with my questions and showed clear dedication to delivering a quality experience. I would rate him straight As across the different categories. Scheduling the service was a different story. I'd grade that a C at best, maybe D. After multiple emails and phone calls that were not returned we finally got someone on the phone and scheduled the service, but they still couldn't provide us full information on the estimated cost of a simple repair. On top of that, it was a 6 week wait for someone to come out. We've been happy with Shavitz in the past but this was a bad experience. We're on their maintenance plan so we hope that will mean better service in the future."

"I called Besco, and talked to a wonderful man on the phone from the Besco offices who listened to me about what was happening to my air conditioner. Two other companies came out and neither one could effectively diagnose the problem. Keep in mind I had water dripping all over my carpet continuously. Besco promptly sent out their amazing technician named Elvis. And within seconds of his arrival, he diagnosed the problem like a doctor would on a patient. It was a clogged exterior drain backing up into my air conditioner unit. At last! Problem solved! I was SO relieved to have someone figure this out!! He was so professional, knowledgeable and efficient. And fixed the problem quickly--trust me this was not easy--there was water everywhere. And he was working after hours in over time and still was kind and patient. I appreciate trained professionals like the ones at Besco--they installed a heater for me last year and it was the same amazing service. Congratulations on this company having some the best trained technicians around Chicago and their continually consistent excellent, honest work at very fair prices. "TDH is an amazing company, and I would recommend them to everyone. We received quotes from 6 different companies to replace our systems, and TDH came in the second cheapest. However, they had much better reviews than the cheaper company, they were recommended by our next door neighbors who had just used them to replace their system, and they provided a better warranty than any of the six companies (12 years, parts and labor, fully transferrable, and no ability for the company to cancel or refuse warranty service for lack of routine cleaning or other conditions). They were also equally or more professional and thorough as any other company during the process of getting quotes. The installation process went well; they sent a team of four people who worked for almost 12 hours to get everything replaced in both systems. They were clean throughout the process (wore coverings over their shoes, laid down protection pads over all floors, kept all packaging materials outside and then cleaned them up, etc.). A few days after the install, on a Sunday, we had a particularly hot day, and it turned out that the freon needed to be adjusted slightly in one of the systems. I used the company's website to request a service technician to contact me, and I received a call back within 3 minutes from an actual technician. He told me that he could be to my house in 2 hours, which he achieved. I was amazed! The website request form is for anyone, not just someone who had a system installed in the last couple weeks, so I am so excited to have that kind of post-installation support available for the next 12 years. I really can't say enough good things about this company."
