"Tom and his crew were very polite and professional. They worked constantly from the time they arrived until they left at the end of the day. They always cleaned up any mess they made at the end of the day and left the area neat. Chris, worked on the crown mouldings and baseboards and did an excellent job. The crown and the baseboards are beautiful and make the house look so polished. I absolutely love the mouldings and baseboards. The painting was done very well and I am very pleased with every room that was painted. My basement looks fantastic! The flooring and baseboards look spectacular! Tom goes out of his way to insure everything the customer wants is done. He even went with me to Home Depot to pick out the doors and locks. He also did extra tasks that weren't in the contract, such as putting vents in my furnace room because they should be there for safety reasons. I truly appreciated Tom's thoughtfulness in completing jobs in my house because they were needed or would make my home look better. I was very fortunate to find Tom and his crew, because not only were they professional and personable, but they completed all of the work I contracted for and did even more that I didn't ask for. Tom really did treat my home as if it was his and provided high quality work and a great smile too. I highly recommend Tom and his construction company to anyone looking for an honest and fair contractor, who takes pride in the quality of work performed. I only have one project left to do, but I certainly will contact Tom to do that job when I'm ready."

"We have been wanting to do on the kitchen for the past few years. We met with many contractors and finally decided to go with Rob and Zack. They were excellent and paid attention to every single detail as if it was their own house. We changed plans many times and they were very patient with us. Very honest and hardworking. We'll definitely hire them again to do the master bath and other projects in the house. So glad we finally found a great contractor. <br />"

"Kurt is one of the most responsive contractors we've ever used. He's always the first one to call us back and is almost always the lowest price. He's always on time, if not early, and has come out the same day to fix something numerous times. He did our new faucet, reinforced our poorly built garage, mounted our TV and put a new gutter on the back of our house while rerouting the downspout. He's always professional and his work is amazing. We have gone back to him time and time again and will continue to do so. <br />"

"Asked for a quote to re-plumb my mother in laws home. I Was immediately told that all he is doing this year is "rehabbing houses" and that hes got "100 to do" And was also told that he's "not taking on any other kind of work" No questions about the work to be done, just a flat NO. Best of luck to you sir."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Highland Park, MI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
