"Eddie provided us with great service. He came the same day I called him. He is honest, the price was good and his work is excellent. Eddie replaced two water valves under our kitchen sink. Also I was told by another plumber that we needed to replace our main water valve (We have a condo). Eddie examined the valve and told me it's good. No need to replace it. We will definitely use him again."

"I would highly recommend Harvey and his crew. They are professional, courteous, and punctual. I originally called for the leaks in my bathroom. This revealed the problems with the upstairs bathroom. Harvey gave me options. I chose to have the plumbing replaced and his crew did it magnificently. He installed a new sink, new plumbing for upstairs shower/faucet/drain, tiling, drywall. In my master bathroom, new plumbing, drywall, bathroom exhaust fan and painting. Additionally, I knew I had roof issues but Harvey showed me the extent to which the roof was in disrepair. I did not know I had shingles missing and that there was so much shoddy patchwork done by the previous owner. As a first time homeowner who will live in my house for at least 20 more years, I chose to redo my entire roof (it was last done in 1994). My roof looks amazing now with no exposed wood or damage. The roofing was done in one day. Amazing. They also cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Harvey and his team. I will definitely use them again if I have any more house repairs."

"David and his team are always on time and deliver exceptional quality work. I did 3 big projects with them over last 2 years and will hire them again if needed. His estimates are very accurate and he will tell you when the project should be done. I recently had to call them right before 4th of July due to my boiler not firing. He came next day and quickly found the issue (the back draft sensor triggered and had to be reset). He explained why this usually happens and how to reset it myself. He and his crew had a project in my area and due to that didn't charge for this visit. This is the honest plumber I was looking for!"

"The tech Sam, was able to actually find replacements parts for a 40 year old faucet. Plus he was abe to determine that the leak in the basement was because of the fawcet upstairs. He could was honest, trustworthy, could have said to replace the enitre faucet and pipes but didn't. I very much appreciated not getting charged for unnessary work. I would definately recommend Ace Plumbing and Heating to everyone."

"Carmine came right over and did an excellent job of troubleshooting the plumbing issue that we had. He came up with conclusions about the cause of our problem that I would have never thought of. We will not hesitate to call C&A for all of our future plumbing needs."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Hopelawn, NJ

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
