"We highly recommend NYC Fireplaces for glass fireplace enclosures. We moved into our new house and discovered that the 2 fireplaces were irregularly sized and that we could not find a fireplace screen that would fit them. Faced with having a blacksmith forge custom screens, we began looking around for fireplace doors and discovered NYC Fireplace, very close to us in Brooklyn NY. They were fast to respond to our initial call, fit us into their schedule for measurement in the same week, offered a wide variety of styles and options, and when we chose a custom made door, promised and then delivered and installed two of them before Thanksgiving- a faster turn around than is customary, but they made it happen and were generous and excited about the entire process with us. In the showroom, they were extremely helpful in making decisions and offering options and solutions and customer service by phone and email, all along the way, was helpful and fast. The installation process was painless for us, and the fireplaces were running perfectly that same night. In fact, they are working better than without the doors, as the doors have corrected the air draw up the chimney and we have no smoke leakage at all now. The doors look like the chimneys were built around them. We are extremely pleased."
