I had no luck searching an electric heater in the same size. We discussed the pros & cons of downsizing, but he was able to special order what I had wanted, with delivery the next day! He was able to adjust his schedule to install the heater shortly afterwards! After an initial glitch of my breaker switch tripping & water not heating up, I am very pleased with the outcome. "Called to have a boiler that is less than 7 years old cleaned. It’s easily accessible. I have mentioned that the pipes were banging at the far end of the house when the heat came up. The technician came and went, never mentioned the need for any new parts. I was shocked to see I was billed $784.00. Three hours and fifteen minutes at $195.00 an hour and the remainder for parts. For a seasonal cleaning ? You call that efficient and professional ?"

"As a 14 year customer, it is sad to see HPHC in operation. Perhaps it was an ownership change but our first problem was when we returned to our home on a December Sunday: no heat and it was 50 and falling. We called the advertised "24/7 Emergency" service. And called and called and called. No one showed up for 24 hours. We are loyal customers, so we excused that. Now, for two weeks (and two heat spells, the third starting) we have been without a/c. A service tech came out, confirmed that our first floor unit had to be replaced and told us he would have his office give us a quote on price and installation time. We never got a call and when we did, we were treated as if we "misunderstood" the tech and had just sat in the heat but we DID get a new appointment for another person to show up to give us an estimate and, no, we could not be told or even given an estimate for installation. Asking for a supervisor, a Mr. Willey, we were told he was "unavailable" but would call us right back. That was 4 days ago. We are done with this outfit. If you need a dependable and polite company to take care of your heat, a/c or generator needs, you should check out others. HPHC is, to put it mildly, overstetched and overcommitted."
