"I got quotes from 3 companies, and Saffer Plumbing provided the only quote that used directional boring to lay the new copper pipe under the ground without requiring a backhoe to tear up my front yard. They were easy to work with throughout the whole process (as they have been in the past), from quote to installation. "Several years back, I called for help and we talked through my problem. We concluded that no water was leaving my house and it was backing up out of a pipe in the basement. Knock You Out could have tried to make some money off of me by saying they needed to come out and look at it, then referring me to the City, and then charging me for their time/truck-roll (while prolonging the entire thing for me). Knock You Out is not cold and unscrupulous. By spending time with me on the phone, but doing no work here and making nothing from it, they proved themselves to be honest and decent people. And that may be the main thing we shop for in home services."

"Glenoak came out to reinstall a toilet that had been leaking .  While there, they noticed a leak from the pressure tank, which needed to be replaced.  They went out for the part w/o charging us for that time or travel.  Unfortunately, the replacement part didn?t work, and ultimately they had to replace the entire toilet.  They fixed a small gas pipe leak near our furnace while there, too.

"The plummer was on time and completed the task quickly.  However, a day after he provided the service the drain once again backed up.  I contacted quality plumbing and drain cleaning  and was told that there was no guarantee for the service.  I was told to contact Baltimore city.  It was apparent that Mr. Fama had no intention of returning to 'resneak" the pipe.

I contacted my insurance company who did send a drain service and a blockage was found and cleared.  It now has been several days with no additional problems.  The new service provider simply sneaked the pipe to clear the problem."

 I called Dean because I had a sudden drop in the hot water pressure in my house.When I called I was given a 1 hour window of when he would arrive. Dean came on time with his helper Oscar as promised. They were very professional and proceeded to fix the problem. At all times they kept me up to date as to what the issue was and what to expect. I like that Dean has a small operation and I know I will be getting a highly qualified master plumber to do the work. I will definitely be calling for future plumbing problems
