Kevin diagnosed the problem immediately as the thermostat, had a replacement in the truck, and completed the installation of the new unit quickly. He showed me how to program the updated version, and everything seemed to be fine - until the next morning. Turned out the replacement was defective. When I called, I was told that they might not be able to get back to me that day, but Kevin interrupted his schedule to come back and put in a new (and working) unit at no charge."

"I am very happy with Mikes Air Conditioning. Here it is JULY and I while in the middle of doing some renovations to my home, I noticed the AC wasn't working the way it should be. I contacted Mike's (fearing the worst) and they sent out a service technician who was able to repair the system for a reasonable cost and buy me some more time before I have to replace the entire system. I had some minor work completed and the freon topped off and now I'm cool and comfy!  Considering all of the expenses with renovating I was very happy to not have a high repair bill. Mikes was efficient, conscientious and professional and they completed the job on time and for a reasonable cost. I recommend them for AC repair as well as installation of new units. When I'm able to replace my system, I'll be calling Mikes Air Conditioning to do the job. Building relationships and getting repeat business should be the goal of any business. "Our AC compressor stopped working this afternoon. I called Jose, who said he'd be over in one hour. He showed up perfectly on time, checked out our unit, told me that it was the capacitor, replaced it, and made sure the unit was functioning well before he left. Here's what I appreciate the most- I know little to nothing about central AC units, and our unit is 19 years old.... so Jose could have told me that the unit was dead and I probably would have believed him, but he didn't. He was honest and charged me what I believe was a fair price given the circumstances (quick service on a hot summer afternoon). Will definitely stick with him in the future when we need the AC serviced again.... or replaced in the future."
