"Barbara Barnagut was absolutely fantastic in performing repairs to old pipes and joints in our 90-year old family home which we were preparing to sell. She was candid about the repairs that were needed and the pros and cons of various repair approaches. She outlined a plan that would keep the costs as low as possible while effectively resolving the problems. It was important that I be able to trust her because the house was unoccupied and there was no one on-site to let her in/out of the house, show her around the home, or be present during the repairs. At every juncture, Barbara proved that she could be trusted; she respected our property and performed everything she said she would, always keeping me informed via calls, texts, and pictures of the completed repairs. "We had used Mako before and were pleased with their work however they are expensive, they charge $125 just to make a house call even if you don't eventually use them, but if you do use the they apply the $125 to the bill. This last time we used Mako, my wife tried to call me to approve an estimate of $445 to install a bathroom faucet and drain cover that I had purchased, but couldn't reach me so she let the man start the work. When she finally got a hold of me, I a few choice words with the plumber telling him that the price was outrageous, at which point he gave the phone back to my wife. I tried to apologize for my poor choice of words but the plumber would not take the phone. After he finished the work and was in his truck packing up my wife ran the water and used the drain plug to check the equipment he installed and water started gushing out under the cabinet, she called him back and in to fix it. He said the clip that holds the water hose in didn't click into place, but isn't that what I paid him a lot of money for? Its a good thing she check to see of the faucet worked properly. She also said the water pressure was very low and he said that was due to the kind of faucet I purchased and that was the best he could do. When I came home and look at the job, the water pressure was very low and after reading the installation directions I tried to adjust it myself but realized that the plumber also took the specialized wrench that was supplied with faucet kit that I purchased. I would never use them again or recommended them to anyone, as I had done so before."

"Daniel came and was able to replace the pipe which was not easy to get to, He had to take apart a ceiling with tongue and groove paneling to get at the pipe. He did an excellent job and in a shorter time than I thought it would take."

"The plumber, Bill was prompt and professional. He was available to do all of the work on the same day as the walk through and estimate. A written estimate was prepared within fifteen minutes of the preliminary inspection. The repairs and replacements took almost all day but it was because it was three different projects throughout the house and he had to get parts. Bill explained exactly what needed to be done for each fixture/ pipe and any options available. The final price was slightly higher than the estimate only because of an unforeseen issue with the fixture manufacturer and it was explained as soon as the problem became apparent to the plumber. Bill was also friendly and wore the appropriate face protection at all times due to the current heath crisis."
