"This was an all day/long day job. An attic system and crawlspace system were removed and replaced with new, modern and technologically advanced systems. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable and worked hard. No slackers here. The crew chief explained everything in the system and process. Reviewed all with me at the completion. Trained me on the new digital thermostat applications. Answered all questions. Was very knowledgeable, cordial and courteous. Canvas drop cloths along their work path. Cleanup was meticulous. Previously, I have used this company to install a new water heater; plumbing issue at the kitchen sink; and annual HVAC maintenance service. Every experience with them has been this positive. They all seemed to take pride in their work...a job well done."

"CURT fixed my furnace and installed my thermostat for me. Great guy very knowledgeable, very efficient in solving the issue and fixing it right away. He even saved me hundreds of dollars on a control board that went out in my furnace got the part came right back and installed it. I recommend him to anyone I can and he’s always my go to person when I’m having any HVAC issues or questions. If I could give more than 5 stars I would."

"Our hot water heater began leaking from inside of the unit.  The existing unit was very old and needed to be replaced.  After researching Angie's List, I made a purchase for a replacement hot water heater with Henson Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing.  Henson Mechanical reached out to me later that day to schedule my replacement, and to verify information about my existing setup.  They were able to send an installer out the very next day.
Prior to his visit, Kurt Schmeisser called to inform me that he would be the person to install the new water heater.  Kurt was prompt, and extremely professional.  During the removal of the old unit, and the installation of the new unit, Kurt made sure not to damage anything in my house.  He made sure to put down plastic over runs of carpet in my basement to ensure that it was not soiled.
Since it is now code, Kurt installed an expansion water tank.  This was included in the initial purchase price of the unit, and was not an unexpected and added expense.
Before he departed, Kurt showed me how to manipulate the temperature of the tank.  He then demonstrated how to ignite the pilot light if there was ever a need.
Through the entire process, Kurt was very polite and professional.  I would consider using Henson Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing for future projects.

"Brian was professional. Because of my travel schedule, he had to break up the project. He was there when he was scheduled to be there and on time. I had a lot of errands to run and felt completely safe leaving Brian in my home. He is meticulous and extremely knowledgeable about his craft. I have referred Brian to several friends and colleagues who are looking for work to be done in their homes and/or business. I already have plans to use him on a future home improvement project!"

"The service went fine. I had them install an outlet. I had to pay quite a bit more for the specific outlet I needed. Two electricians came out and completed the job in about 2 hours or so. They did a fine job. I had no problem scheduling the deal."

"This is the third time that I have hired this company.  It is my "go to" for wall or ceiling repair or damage.
Mr. Green, the owner,
was a pleasure to work with and very professional.  He kept me informed every step of the way.   He oversaw or helped with each step.  He is meticulous about each step being done right.  He introduced each workman who helped with the work, painter or drywall specialist.
After the drywall repair, each bathroom was primed, even completely covering the one that was purple (my daughter's).  Each bathroom had two coats of paint.
Without reservation, I highly recommend this company.

FAQs for thermostat installation and replacement projects in Jonesboro, GA

Smart thermostats may be worth it for many homeowners. They come with various features, including voice control and smartphone apps. Vacation mode can help lower energy usage when you’re out of town for an extended period. Alert warnings let you know about major spikes or drops in temperature. Smartphone apps can track energy usage, and smart thermostats can learn your routine over time to adjust your temperature and reduce wasted energy consumption automatically.

You typically do not need more than one smart thermostat. While it’s common to see multiple mechanical thermostats throughout a large home, multiple smart thermostats may try to override each other. This can lead to problems with the HVAC system. Ensure the unit you buy has the option for dual- or multi-zoned systems to avoid compatibility issues.

Installing a programmable or smart thermostat may save you $180 per year in utility costs. A big part of this comes from a smart thermostat’s ability to learn and adapt to your regular routines. With smartphone apps or web-based interfaces, you also have the option to control your thermostat when you’re not home.
