"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"I had heard people mention these guys for different things they've done. I had 3 well-known companies come and give me an estimate. The guy from Community was not only here on time with all his materials to present, but he also gave me a hard quote, didn't waste my time, and he gave me the option to sleep on it and let him know the next day. Great feeling. The person came out to measure and they were very thorough, and I was very impressed. He answered all the different questions I had, which was nice also, and he even offered to arrange to have any additional work done on a Saturday/Sunday to save me from having to take any more time-off from work! I ended up getting an extra paid day-off and took Friday, they came on time, and the crew was so efficient and worked so well as a team, it was like watching a well-oiled machine. They did additional lead-paint testing, they tented the areas around the windows to protect my flooring and everything, they took down and put back all the window trimmings, they were just very efficient, organized, and I was just amazed. They came at 8am, and were done by 4pm. Not only that, but they cleaned up after themselves, they helped me with my alarm system (on the sliding door) and saved me a trip from the security company to have the alarm disabled. Again, they cleaned up everywhere they were, in the house, outside, in the flower beds, everywhere! They gave me lessons afterward so I would know how to use the windows, locks, door and everything. These windows are beautiful! They have followed-up to make sure there hasn't been any trouble. I have already noticed my heater coming on less often, the noise reduction, the clarity everything is so great! I can't say enough good things about these guys."
