"I have been impressed with Subcomm Pools since our first contact. After days of research trying to find a company that could help us with a potential leak, I decided to contact Subcomm Pools. What really distinguished them from all the other companies was their willingness to put their weekly service package prices on their website. As a fairly new pool owner, I had quickly noticed that most companies instead advertise that customers need to call for a quote or estimates. "BJ Pool & SPA is a first rate company.  Bob, the owner, has been working with pools for decades and knows everything about pools. He is actually willing to try to repair equipment, unlike many other lesser companies that merely put in new stuff.  If you have any issues with your pool and spa, these are the people to call: they will fix anything and will always provide you with the best options.  Bill, the specialist who came to work on the unusual configuration of equipment for my small indoor pool and spa, demonstrated a great deal of experience, ability and honesty.  BJ Pool & Spa might not seem cheap, however, given their vast knowledge, experience and technical ability, they will provide you with quality service and advice that will save you money in the long run.  Their competence and integrity is extremely reassuring.  It isn't always easy to find a good pool company (this industry isn't as regulated as other professions), and it took me a while to find this one. BJ Pool will be the company I call when I want honest and reliable service

"Happy with pool surface...mini-pebbles with glass beads. Weekly maintenance during pool season since 2016. Paul and his team are professional, courteous, caring, hardworking and kind. Paul even came over on Labor Day weekend when our pump was not working...now that is above and beyond! Paul really cares about his clients and their satisfaction. Prices are fair and comparable. "I interviewed several vendors and selected Backyard Ponds, checking their prior experience referrals. The consultations were performed in a professional manner and the designers were very knowledgeable, suggesting better, cost-effective alternatives than I had originally envisioned to provide a more healthy and predator-safe pond than the previous one I had designed. I have since used Backyard Ponds for cleaning and they are very responsive with advice when I have had water or fish problems."

"Technician stated hot water heater needed to be total replaced due to normal wear and tear. Hot water heater is initially the hot water heater installed in 1999 when home was built. Choice Home Warranty denied the claim after several years of being a loyal customer, making payments on- time every month. What is the use of having this warranty for times as this and when you need them, they denied the claim? Although the service was good, response time adequate, providing the services needed when your appliance break down and being denied repairs was disappointing and devastating, especially when coronavirus is rampant and you really need your hot water to wash clothes, dishes, bath, shower, and remain sanitary. I am so heart broken because I live on a fixed income and am disable, and can’t afford to purchase a hot water heater at this time. They determined that the water heater was not operating properly as a result of a lack of effective maintenance of the unit. What a crock!"

"After I purchased their deal they set an appointment with me. I had my son take the day off from work to be present for the appointment, but they never showed. Later found out they left a message on one of my phones stating I was out of the service area. Just wish that was caught sooner."

"The owner of this company serviced our pool for over 15 years.  He was extremely responsible and professional.  He always responded to my calls promptly and made whatever repairs were necessary as quickly as possible.  He was always sensitive to costs of replacement items.  He also spent the off season going to classes and manufacturer training to be current in the industry.  His rates were reasonable.   When we were remodeling our pool deck and pool, he coordinated with the pool and deck contractors.  When our heater needed servicing he was knowledgeable enough to conduct the service himself.  Our pool was always crystal clear.  If he hadn't cut back with servicing our area, I would still have his company service our pool. "

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
