"We moved into new house and quickly found out the basement had major water issues due to years of neglect (including a clogged and poorly installed English drain from years ago, and a sump pump that while it worked, never pumped water.). Given the investment we made in buying the house, we wanted to make sure we left no doubt in our mind that we were fixing it for the long haul so we could use the basement without worry of mold/mildew for our kids. We had NV Waterproofing install perimeter wide gutter guards, and a new sump pump system and drainage pipes. As soon as the work was done we got rain, and for the first time in the 4 months since we have lived here I saw the water that otherwise would be in our basement actually in the rear of our backyard by the discharge pipe. He was a big help with setting up appointments with the inspector and I have to applaud the inspector as well for being so helpful. And even the permitting process while a bit challenging at first for a newby, wasn't all that bad. Just watch the videos online and it walks you through the process. The job itself, John worked with me and the inspector to get me exactly what I wanted. He was wonderful with answering questions and very responsive.
