"Two days before Thanksgiving I smell gas, call the gas company, they came and removed the meter because there was a crack in the gas line, I call this company they came out and after reviewing the situation ,cost, was very expensive I decided to get a second opinion and that's when Mr Ruben comes in, he was one of the plumbers I call from Angie's list, I called him immediately ,( the same day ) he came out about 3 hours later, and he quoted me a third of the price for the same situation. He did the work the same evening, and after running a gas test everything appeared to be fine and now I'm waiting for the city to come back out to bring me my meter, just in time for Thanksgiving holiday. Ruben not only solved my problem he was very detailed, professional, reasonable, and genuinely concerned that my meter be replaced before the next day, which was Thanksgiving, his work was knowledgeable, efficient ,fast, pride himself on his work , he went straight to the problem and the problem was solved , definitely a master of his trade, takeing pride in his work. "I highly recommend RAM as I has major gas leak on a second gas line which tied was tied to pool heater and generator. The original install was regular piping underground which rusted and cracked open. I called RAM and they diagnosed the leak and dug up entire line and ran new gas line with 2 new risers. "Awesome service!! Zach (tech) spent over 6 hours taking toilets (3) apart, snaking the drain (in 2 locations) all the way to the city line and running a camera to the city line as well. During this process another tech brought a bigger machine – afterhours. Then he correctly diagnosed the problem – the city line was plugged. Zach talked to the city dispatcher (Saturday @ 8 pm) and then left. Was stunned the bill was reduced to $100 (afterhours callout fee), Zach said “We didn’t fix it you don’t pay” Was shocked when a Huntsville Public Works truck showed up 2 hours later (10 pm on Saturday) and used 750 psi to unclog the sewer line."

"Had a clamp on the leaky pipe, so no emergency existed. I contacted Budget for quote on Monday, price was much better than two other plumbers had quoted, including the one that attached the clamp. Plumbers arrived the next morning as scheduled, quickly and professionally replaced the section with the leak. All done with a minimum of delay or inconvenience. I would not hesitate to recommend Budget Home Services to friends or neighbors.
They also quoted me on replacing all the old galvanized pipe, or as an alternate, just the horizontal sections. This may be necessary in the future, since all our pipe is original, from 1976.
