"They contacted me with the right unit to buy and a reasonably priced supplier. They hadn’t installed my particular model before but were confident. I ordered the unit, paid up front, and told them when it arrived. They worked me into the schedule within the week and arrived first thing in the morning. The install had some quirks due to the unit not being straight forward to install in keeping with code, but the electrician explained how he was going to change the wiring to the unit in order to meet code and preserve the weather proofing. He was polite and friendly, gave me an extra warranty due to the unusual situation, and helped me pair my phone with the correct app for charging. He also quickly diagnosed and fixed my outlet. I was happy with everything and look forward to contacting them again when I need wiring."

If you need quick and timely service and good personnel go with these guys. The two guys that gave me the quote were installers as well so they know what they are talking about."

"<p>I contacted Mr. Handyman to get some help with a squeaking floor before a carpet install.  The reason for calling was that I was in process of moving and didn't have tools required for any extensive work (e.g., removal/replacement of sub floor).  I did have tools to add more fasteners, but thought the job would require work beyond that after inspecting it and putting in several screws which didn't remedy the issue.  </p> <p>The tech came and was very competent but quickly determined the only thing he could do within the 2 hour service was put in additional screws, which he did.  He was reluctant to remove/replace any of the subfloor out of concern it would take longer than 2 hours.  This seemed a bit excessive, but I appreciate the fact that he didn't want to exceed the time given their high rate per hour.</p> <p>While installing additional screws was ok, it didn't alleviate the squeaking and was something I could have done myself.  Since I was paying for 2 hours of time, I did find some other areas that he helped with and additional screws in those areas of the floor worked to eliminate squeaks there.  The tech also recommended putting some gorilla glue in the joints, which I was surprised to find he didn't have on hand.  This resulted in another trip to HD for me and additional work after he wrapped up.  </p> <p>All in all, it was a very expensive way to partially address the issue.  Not a real knock on Mr. Handyman, but a bit of a disappointment overall.  My advice to others considering using Mr. Handyman is to make sure you really need them since the rate per hour is very high and will add up quickly.  This is good for some situations, such as when you're in a pinch for time, but would research other alternatives thoroughly first as there are likely more cost effective approaches for any substantial work.</p> <br />"

"it was a very satisfactory experience, I contacted Brad about a larger (full siding replacement) project but he indicated that was alittle beyond his scope (insurance liability wise) but I had a smaller project that we discussed over the phone and via e-mail with photos. He purposed an alternate idea to replacing the entire window surround with a clever idea I won't go into here . . bottom line it was fabulous, did the trick and saved me a few hundred $$. I was responsible for supplying the materials but I suspect Brad might be negotiable on that point. The initial quote was $500 for the day, he ended up finishing early ergo the $330. He's very knowledgeable and affable and I highly recommend you call him with your smaller projects . . if your not sure what "small" translates to call him, h*** defionitely call you back and you know what they say about a picture being worth 1000 words, send him a photo (if applicable). <br />"
