"My house was overvalued by the property tax assessor. It has a lot of damage and is not appropriately reflected in the neighborhood comparisons. (Termites, dry rot, multiple roof leaks, water damage to drywall and floors, failed windows and doors needing replacement) I needed to document this and its effect on the market value. Angie's List steered me to Akrivis. Very prompt and helpful on the phone. I was clear about the situation and what I needed. Two separate conversations initially, and one further conversation with Akrivis when their photographer needed to be instructed to take picture of damaged areas not just routine front back and two pictures of each room. The appraisal I got showed none of this. No real documentation of condition. The finished report consisted of a few general photos and a comparison of neighborhood values based on average price per square foot. Totally useless to me. Called the appraiser who was hostile and unhelpful. I'm out $400 for nothing."

"Paula was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We had never purchased a home before and had been renting for several years. We needed someone who know the whole process well and was willing to go to bat for us during closing. We looked at 17 different houses and Paula never lost patience with us telling us we would know the right house when we found it. When we found the right house she made sure we did not overpay and she even got us help with the closing costs. Paula was patient and kind and made sure we were never taken by surprise by anything during the home buying process.
