"Service twice yearly, winter and summer. Will let us know if any parts are required. It went great!"

"On April 15 the temperature fell from upper 60s to freezing. For some reason our bedroom heating unit has a problem in turning on the furnace if there is a sudden drop in temperature/pressure. Usually shutting it down and restarting solves the issue. Not this time though. We spent the night in living area were the other unit was working. In the morning I called couple of places and Select AC was the only provider to call back promptly. (This is a consistent indicator of good service. Any provider who returns your call promptly invariably ends up providing good service. ) . One of the other service providers  I called said they were taking appointments for "next friday" which was 10 days later. I appreciate the fact that they are so busy that they could not handle the volume but to suggest someone requesting a repair that they had to wait 10 days is downright silly.  In any case,  Billy (I hope I got the name right) from Select AC called me promptly and said he will look at the issue and take care of it the same day. During the day we exchanged calls to get a rough idea about the time he will come over. Billy outlined his schedule for the day and we figured he can make it more or less in the evening after 3pm. In the evening I drove back from work early to be at home at the time of service. I decided to give one more try and tried to turn on the heat. Voila! The furnace turned on without any issue. I didn't cancel the appointment as I wanted Select AC to check out the system as we did not want to get stranded again on a cold night.
Billy was professional and courteous. He checked the systems in attic and mentioned everything was working fine. The flame sensor had carbon build up so he cleaned it. He gave some pointers for future reference and we will definitely keep that in mind if the issue arises again. I paid a total of $100 which included the service fee and Angies list discount. I felt it was an excellent price for service offered. If only all service providers provided such honest estimates and charges. We will definitely use Select AC again and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

"I was thinking it was a crap shoot to hire this company to do appliance repair since it looks like their bread and butter business is HVAC. The gal on the phone assured me that they have been repairing appliances for over 25 years. My gas oven wasn't working but the range worked fine. I gave them the oven model number and asked them to have parts on hand so that they didn't have to go get parts. They came out, fixed the oven and was out in about 25 minutes. They were polite, professional, courteous. They also called me before coming out as promised and showed up on time. He even told me there is an internet coupon and he would just apply it even though I didn't physically have the coupon printed or even knew about it. That was nice! I would hire them again.

"Great! Friendly and professional. My unit wasn’t cooling and with current heat, the prompt response to service my unit was greatly appreciated. Spencer air conditioning and heating hires great people."

"Installation was great. The service guys were excellent. The salesperson left out a few important details such as the discounts we were able to eventually get and the communication between the service guys and the salesperson was lacking."

"The technician arrived on time and worked on the A/C tuneup while another Angie's List service was being performed on a newer house in Allen that I had closed on the week before.  In addition to the service purchased, he also helped to level the pad.
He performed the tuneup efficiently and did not "find" any other issues that needed additional repairs.

"It went well. We will use his services again, if necessary."

"We contacted Callahan for repairing our bathroom which was in bad shape. Callahan gave a quote for reasonable price and assisted us in picking the correct materials for bathroom and did the work very well. We were quite impressed with him and so when a airconditioning unit stopped working we approached him and he gladly helped us to fix the unit. So far everything is functioning well in our home and Callaham would also do a free inspection in March of all the work he did. I would strongly recommend Callahan for any work."
