Jim got bus with other Angie's List jobs and at one point, sent out a note to those of us still hanging and apologized. But in my case, it was my own doing. When I finally needed to install the gas line Jim was very responsive. He worked fast and explained everything he was doing, and why. He finished the job in two hours, so all I had to pay for (beyond the deal) was parts. I told Jim I'd have him back later to  do some bathroom plumbing.

"Tom Larson showed up exactly on time to do the estimate on the work. The estimate was acceptable and I notified him the next day to go ahead. Tom is very personable and easy to work with. He scheduled the work for April 21-22 from 8:30 am to 4pm. He called the first day to say he would be about an hour late as he needed to stop and pick up some of the materials on the way. When he arrived, he went right to work checking at every significant step to be sure it was what we wanted. I asked him to add the removal of the gas grill and he agreed for a very small increment. He finished the work up on the second day exactly as he said he would. Everything was done very well and he double-checked to be sure I was satisfied."
