"Contacted him last Friday. He seemed interested and knowledgeable about my system I gave him my name number and address and I arranged for him to come today for a service call. Within minutes of talking to him he called me backed and tried to pawn me off on a more "local" "well service company" who when I contacted they said they did NOT do filters which is my problem. I called him back and told him that and said I wanted him and he said he would call me this morning and tell me when he was coming. This morning he had not called so I called him at 8;45 and was told he had other customers "that had no water" and he would have to let me know. before noon he called and just cancelled, said to try for someone "more local" when I told him I had not been able to find anyone I got pretty much an "oh well" If he was not really interested, maybe because of the distance or I was always going to be such a low priority that I would never be gotten too he could have just told me that on Friday."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
