"Update from 20 Jan 2026: I`ve been a repeat customer of Keep Smiling Plumber, Electrical, Heating and Cooling in the past for several home-related repairs. After having an unfortunate experience with Keep Smiling PEHC during my most recent service, I had some misgivings about the company and whether I would return as a customer. In regards to their customer service, everyone that I`ve engaged with (technicians, onsite supervisor, receptionist) has always been professional and courteous which goes a long way with me. The issue that I had was technical in nature and left me with some dissatisfaction regarding the quality of work. After speaking with leadership of this organization Mr. Powell and Ms. Amy ,I believe that they hold the highest standards and expectations for their employees and ensure that any work-related issues are duly addressed/resolved. I can sincerely say that they have regained my confidence and trust in contacting them in the future for my future HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing home needs. The manager I spoke with told me that there wasn`t any way the damage of the pump could come from the technician doing a drain and flush of the water heater. He told me that it would cost $1200 to replace the pump on the water heater. After speaking with the manager at Keep Smiling, I called another company which I`ve seen before in the community and spoke with a plumber and explained to him what happened. The technician at the other company told me that the pump could definitely be damaged if the pump was still plugged up and not turned off while the water heater was being drained and flush. I called the manager at Keep Smiling and shared those details with him and he replied that he understands what I`m saying but there was nothing he could do about it. I told him that I don`t have any reason to lie about any of this and felt very frustrated and cheated by the fact that I went in expecting for them to do a maintenance check for $59 for plumbing but ended up spending a $1000 for new. "Charlie and his crew arrived promptly at the time he mentioned over the phone. He and his crew are quiet team but went to work immediately. After about 45 minutes Charlie came down from the attic and described what he thought was the problem. He provided me with a ballpark quote for parts and labor. He needed to drive back to an HVAC parts distributer for a gas valve and circuit board. He and crew left for an hour and half and arrived back with the new parts. An hour later, my heating was back to working. I am typically skeptical of small business owners on providing quotes but Charlie came across as a competent technician with years of experience. I did not feel I was overcharged or misled. I will do business with Charlie and his crew again. My advice is be understanding of him and his crew's language barrier. Carefully explain details of your project experience and expected outcomes. Charlie will see to it that you are satisfied with his crew's work. Thanks Charlie!"
