"Of course the A/C quits on the afternoon of the 90+ degree day! Fan and compressor were not working, but indoor fan was, meaning either a capacitor or contractor issue in the outdoor unit. Called office 10 minutes before they were done for the day, but was able to confirm a repair appointment for first thing the next morning. Technician (Sean) was here at 8 am, and after a 2 minute discussion and check, confirmed that capacitor was the issue. Still under warranty from Bryant, so that was a plus, but I was surprised that there was a failure after only 3 years since last unit ( also a Bryant, nd installed by AC Engineers after house was built in 1997) never had a problem for the 17 years we had it until replaced with the higher efficiency unit. The interesting comment from the technician was that he would likely replace 5-6 more capacitors that day (!!!!!), not tied to any particular brand of unit, but more because all the manufacturers use the same capacitor from the same source, and "they literally don't build them like the used too". Rather illuminating - In addition to the capacitor fix, he did a full service check of the system. Excellent job, responsive and knowledgeable."

"I pulled up Angie's List and selected CSR (Complete Service Restoration). Within 30 minutes after contacting CSR, Ron Minando was at our door. Within another 45 minutes Ron's crew arrived. As Julius Caesar said upon landing in Britain, They came, They saw. They conquered. With CSR, They came. They saw. They conquered a smelly, moldy, and disgustingly wet basement. To ensure that water, dirt, and contaminants, were not tracked into our house, they put down a waterproof cloth matting on the main floor, the laundry room and the garage. Working in a quiet professional manner, the crew drained the basement, extracted water from the carpeting and padding, zipped it into watertight plastic bags and disposed of it in a dumpster. They did the same with the wet drywall and some water damaged contents. They moved so quietly and quickly that my wife and I were unaware they brought in very large air scrubbers and dehumidifiers. After removing all the contaminated debris, they sprayed the floor and walls with a plant-based (no toxic chemicals) anti-bacterial agent. By acting quickly, CSR was able to save my wife's hat room and its 300 plus hats Hooray! It took several days to remove mold and dry the basement, but when they finished we had a clean odor-free basement. The men were prompt, very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the dangers of a water/mold damaged basement. If needed, I would definitely hire CSR again."

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Went fairly well since the A/C hadn't ever been tuned up since the house was built 14 years ago. It also needed Freon which was extremely expensive (about $800) because they don't manufacture this particular type any longer. But I was told it should help my unit to last another 2-3 years before it needs to be replaced and the cost could be applied toward a new A/C unit."

New unit was professionally installed with attention to detail not present on the old unit. No damage to walls or floors, and installers used extra measures to prevent outside dirt, snow, and water from being tracked into the house. "Because we had to coordinate the service call with a temporary shut-off, of the water, by the city timing was important. Mr. Hairston and his apprentice Gary arrived within approximately 15 minutes of our calling them, once the shut-off had occurred. They explained to us what work would be done and took approximately 35 minutes to complete the job. Before completing the work we were told that it was 'ok' to call to have the water restored. That meant that we were able to spend less time waiting for the city to come back out. As we had read in other reviews before, the area worked in was cleaned at the completion of the job. Mr. Hairston offered to send our receipt via email and was willing to accept whatever form of payment we wanted ( cash, check or charge). He invited us to contact him if anything else needed addressing. He was pleasant and polite as was Gary his apprentice.
