"Just had a great experience with Carolina Foundation Solutions. Andrew provided a clear overview of the options for a bowing basement wall and settling corner. Robert, Wesley, and Marvin did the work. Andrew knew the pros and cons for the solutions and explained them well. I am a tough-minded engineer and have very high standards for worksmanship. Robert, Wesley, and Marvin did a FANTASTIC job. They were punctual, thorough, and professional. They put in helical supports for the corner and carbon fiber straps for the bowing wall. I did not do any comparison pricing."

"Gene and his team did an AWESOME job.  He is so meticulous.  We could not be happier with the results.  We ended up a great <br /> addition to our landscaping, and we've received nothing but compliments on the work performed.  <br /> <br /> We had a date we wanted the work completed by, and Gene had no problem finishing right on time!  The price quoted did not change during the project and was very reasonable for the work performed. <br /> <br /> All of the Exact Concrete personnel were professional and courteous.  I highly recommend them to any potential customers!"

"I was unavailable to be at the appointment, but the guy called me and talked with me about the issues.  He was very polite and answered all of my questions.  He even emailed me an answer to a follow up question.  I was quoted around $1,500 for a joist replacement, and to fix the columns on the front of the house.  For the remaining items (retaining wall and settling upstairs) I was told that no work needed to be done at this time.   <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Lexington, SC

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
