"The name Aqua Doctor is very fitting for Chris and his team, because it sounds like a super hero and that is definitely what they are! After a brutal week of cold a few weeks ago I went to turn on a faucet to have water shooting out from the pipe. Thankfully I knew where the shut off valve was, and searched Angies List to find a reputable contractor for what I hoped would be a simple repair. The repair wasn’t simple, which made having a true professional like Chris even more important. Not only had one of the pipes under the sink blown out, but Chris and his thorough inspection showed me a pipe behind the wall in the shower was also leaking. Had I tried to fix the pipe myself or hired some novice I doubt that would have been found, which have resulted in leaking in my walls and under the floor for who knows how long before it was found. There unfortunately a good amount of damage, and Chris and his team helped in so many ways but I will just name a few. First, they did work beyond what a typical plumber would do. His crew came in and pulled out tile and opened the walls to get to the leaking pipes. More about that in a bit, but another critical piece was he helped me navigate the confusing and tricky area of dealing with your insurance company. He did what my insurance company didnt seem able to do, which is example to me in simple terms how the process works, and he spoke directly with the company probably 6 or 7 times as the project was moving forward on what needed to be done and why to help get every possible dollar of his bill covered. As the project was moving along and the team had to walls to do the repairs, we learned this part of the home was not built to code. We had plumbing on an outside wall without an insulated wall in between. This meant the proper way to repair it was to move the water lines for the shower, toilet and sink by jackhammering into the concrete foundation. It’s a miracle I didnt pass out when I learned that, but once again Chris took the time to explain to me in simple terms what had to be done, to show me, explain why, and then get not he phone with the insurance agency to get it covered. He even facilitated working with the village inspector to make use all the documentation needed to prove this was required by the village was in place. This along would have been $4,400 out of my pocket if Chris hadn’t been thorough and diligent to working with the insurance. Other contacts would hand me a bill and let me figure it out, but Chris helped me the entire way. His team worked hard and fast to get everything in sorted out quickly, and Chris even connected me with another familiar member who offered to do the additional repairs like drywalling, paint, etc. Chris and his team turned what could have been an absolute nightmare into a relatively painless process and really worked hard to minimize my out of pocket spend. And when the project was over and I tried to tip him for going way above and beyond me didn’t even want to accept the cash so I gave it to his workers. I just cant say enough for Chris and his hard work and work ethic. And if this wasn’t enough to convince you to use Aqua Doctor I will leave you with one more meaningful example. When the village came out to look at what had to be done to comply with code, I could see the relief on the face of the village inspector that I was using Aqua Plumbing because they knew the job would be done right."

"Sam arrived on time and he was very professional. He answered all my questions and also made good recommendations. After finishing the tune up, I shared with him that I can smell gas in the laundry room or outside the house from time to time for the last year. "I had a leak under my kitchen sink. Arslan had to search to find the cause of the leak, which he did locate; it was at the shut-off valve. H purchased the valve and installed it. No more leaks. I also called him about a gas pipe issue for a new stove. He said there was no problem with the gas pipe. He said if the installer still had a problem installing the new stove to call him and he would come back and install the new stove. I have used Arslan before to install a water filtration system under my kitchen sink and he did an excellent job. I would gladly recommend him and use him in the future."

Communicating with John via the Home Advisor site was quick and easy and John's communications were clear and to the point. John asked for pictures to plan the work that were shared with his team and they arrived on-time and completed the work. Two particular items of note related to the service quality: (1) the installation team cleaned up the piping from previous installations and installed a shut-off lever, rather than a shut-off valve (the previous valve had frozen open) and (2) the lead installer returned to the site, when the kitchen faucet wasn't flowing to clear out the line - after having noted to call, should there be any issues, once the water heated up in the tank, noting that would take approximately 30 minutes.
