"I'm a first time home owner and have only lived in apartments my whole life so living in a home was certainly going to be a learning curve. From hearing friends and families horror stories about dealing with various vendors from electrical to plumbing to contracting throughout the years, I felt a sense of stress of knowing I'd eventually have to find providers I could trust and who weren't looking to take advantage of my naivety in the process. I heard this could take several tries before finding the right people who you could rely on. Thankfully, Intact was my first try and they will be the ONLY plumbing vendor I ever use moving forward. There were a few minor things that came up in our inspection revolved around plumbing which is what started me on my quest of finding a reputable vendor. Things like replacing washer hoses, gas dryer pipes, and a leaky faucet. We also noticed that one of the toilet bowls had a very weak flush and that the upstairs kitchen sink would back up after about 45 seconds of continuous use. After submitting my quote request to Home Advisor, Shai (I assume is the owner) reached out within 15 minutes to get a sense of what was going on and then scheduled a in-home walk through to provide a proper estimate the very next morning (I commute to and from NYC daily so there was no other choice but for me to do it before catching my train and he was more than accommodating in this request). Shai arrived on time and even pointed out things that were not in working order like a broken gas valve and showed me things that weren't up to code. He even made some recommendations that I could on my own like getting water alarm detectors that are a small worthwhile investment in the event that an area ever started to have a leak. By that evening I had a very detailed and fairly priced quote for my review. I immediately approved and we scheduled to start the work a couple of days later. That Monday his team showed up and did their thing. They were able to fix everything except the kitchen sink drainage which turned into what would become a nightmare. What should have been a quick snaking through the pipes turned out to be a much larger problem. They spent an entire day trying to diagnose and find out exactly what was going on with the blockage. There were two theories 1) either there was a severe blockage that they were concerned could get pushed to the main causing a backup throughout the WHOLE house or 2) the pipe was broken. That's when they broke the news to me that they would have to break our foundation and try to find the pipe and where the issue was coming from. I immediately had an emotional breakdown and Shai and Johnathan calmed me down and told me not to worry and also educated me that Insurance could potentially even help offset the financial expenditure (he was right). The next day they returned. Did one last ditch effort to try to go through the opposite side of the pipe with no luck and then broke ground. Within a couple of hours they found the pipe and the culprit of what was causing the issue. Solidified black sludge that spanned several feet. They showed us how hard this stuff was by jamming metal rods into the pipe to try to chip away at it. At this point I was just thankful they found the actual problem and knew how to fix it. The very next day they replaced about 10 feet of the pipe with PVC, had their team lay down sand and concrete to repair our foundation and voila, we had free flowing draining water! They also took pictures and videos throughout the ENTIRE process which was helpful for me in submitting my claim to insurance. They truly took every measure and went the extra mile for EVERYTHING all the while being beyond helpful in educating me how we can deal with this and make it easy. Can not recommend these guys enough. They are true EXPERTS!"

"I had a leak in my bathtub after a day of cleaning. It was more than inconvenient, so I reached out to Angie’s List and Harold at Zbest Plumbing was one of the recommended on the list. He called me and was extremely friendly and offered to come the next day. I was very desperate and agreed to hold off until the next day so I could compare some prices and clean up after trying to fix the problem on my own. He then offered to come right then and there after thinking about it to at least look at the issue and decided to make me an offer so good I couldn’t turn it down and managed to not only remove the old pipes and shoe that was stuck under the tub but replace the entire system in a matter of hours. I couldn’t be more grateful for this man and will definitely be reaching out to him in the near future for any work I have in the house.please call Harold at Zbest plumber because he is in fact Zè-best"

"I searched for someone to install a kitchen faucet and repair a leaking sink drain pipe, Dave responded immediately to my inquiry and he was able to send a plumber right over. I had not purchased the new faucet as of our call and he advised me to call him when I returned home which I did. Mike was dispatched to my home in less than 30 minutes!!!! The job was quickly completed and I am more than extremely satisfied. Mike was very professional and thoroughly knowledgeable in his work. Dave was very helpful in setting up my appointment and quickly dispatching one of his men. Thank you Dave and Mike for a job well done. UPDATE FOR 02/09/17 I hired Palmasano Plumbing a couple of months ago and I found them to be a great company to work with, ( see my review for that project), so when I noticed a leak dripping from my ceiling without hesitation I called Dave and told him of my problem he assured me someone would respond to my home within an hour. True to his word Mike arrived which was great as he had completed my last project, he went right to work checking all avenues which might be causing the leak. He quickly found the problem and repaired it quickly, he took great pains to limit the debris field and completely cleaned the area. "They came out on a weekend and we're our saving grace during one of the most frustrating experiences we've had in this house. We couldn't use any plumbing without flooding the basement with sewage, it was early stay at home days, and we felt like we would go mad. They showed up and gave us an price for replacing the broken pipe, and set in to work. They worked for the entire weekend essentially, staying extremely late at night and showing up early the next morning, and at one point driving far out at night to get supplies since their usual local place was closed (again, quarantine time) . The reason it took so long was because after opening up the floor to get to the end of the pipe to replace it they found more damaged pipes, and replaced those as well. By the end of it they had spent the entire weekend on a job they expected to only last an afternoon, had charged us not nearly enough for the amount of work they did, and fixed a leaking bidet we had for free for good measure. They also advised us to do camera scan to look for any other problems, which they couldn't do until the water drained out, and even did an initial mop of the basement (which, remember, sewage flooding). I'm honestly half convinced these people are magic helpful brownies or something, it's unreal how helpful they were! Somehow our drier which has not succeeded in drying clothes for over a year has started working in a single cycle since they left, despite the fact they didn't even do anything with it, and in fact specifically said they don't do driers and offered to recommend someone else when we mentioned it. Suffice to say, I cannot recommend them highly enough"
