"I hired GSM Services to replace my A/C unit and furnace with a newer, upgraded system. A few weeks ago Kelly came to my house to give me an estimate for a new heating and air system. He was on time and very professional. He surveyed my existing system, took measurements of my house, and did some calculations to determine exactly what type and capacity system that I would need. He showed and explained to me several options as well as their prices. He wasn’t pushy as he left in order to give me time to review the different options before making my decision. I called the office the next day with my decision and to set up a date and time for installation. Today (May 22) Kyle and Craig showed up on time and were extremely professional as well. They worked from 8:30 to 5:30 completing the replacement of my entire heating/air system. The field team leader also showed up just to ensure that everything was going smoothly. They were very helpful in answering any questions that I had throughput the day and they took the time to explain to me about the new system after installation was complete (I.e. how to operate the new programmable thermostat). Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely use them again."

"I want to thank Angie's List for helping me know about local companies and all their information, to make a clear choice. I called the company and talked to the lady in the office. She was really helpful and explained the differences in the systems, cost and answered other questions I had. She took her time with me and didn't 'talk down' to me but made me feel at ease and knowledgeable of the products. She said she'd have Mike, owner, come out to check the unit I was telling her about and answer any questions I had. He was right on time and was great to explain everything in terms I could understand. He checked the unit and told me what was wrong and my options. I never at any time feel pressured to have it repaired or buy a new unit. I had all the information I needed to decide, and I took overnight to decide. He put a new part in my old unit, to get it up and running. He said he'd leave it in place while I was deciding what I wanted to do - repair or replace. My unit was about 20 years old, and was at the time not working. He was very nice and thoughtful and never pushy or intimidating. When the unit was installed several days later, a new thermostat was also installed. I was given instructions on it and how to set it up with my computer and cell phone. The old unit, and all the mess involved in the installation, was cleaned up and hauled away. I'd recommend this company to anyone. Great job and the nicest people."

Last week we finally decided to replace the furnace, too. They gave us the quote on Wednesday afternoon, and they were here bright and early Friday morning to start the work. "The owner Mike was able to come into our house and diagnose a complex environment problem that was causing our heater to run continuously.  (This problem was not solved by several other HVAC contractors)  During Mike's analysis, he performed the standard maintenance routines to validate the HVAC unit was operating properly.  From there, he looked into what other conditions existed into the house that were causing the unit to not sufficiently heat the house.  After a thorough analysis, he was able to then install the home air quality devices onto our existing HVAC unit to dramatically improve our indoor air quality.  With these additional components, we have been able to control our indoor humidity and provide fresh air ventilation automatically.  All of this was set up on an internet capable control module so we can control the entire system from a smartphone.  As a result, the HVAC does not run continuously to heat the house, and now operates very efficiently.

 Mike has been incredibly responsive in the time that we have worked with him.  He has responded to calls, email, and texts very quickly.  His initial service call was on a Sunday afternoon and we have also completed a facetime conversation as part of the diagnosis.  After the initial installation, we had an issue with the equipment itself.  Mike quickly responded, worked with his supplier, and they resolved the issues through the product warranty in the matter of a day. Through the entire process, he has taken a lot of time to completely explain to me what was happening and provided detailed recommendations.  His level of customer service, responsiveness, and communication has been outstanding.
