"I’ve had others look at the furnace with the same problem coming up again soon after. Super Heating and Cooling came out the day I called them. Fixed the problem and his bill was very reasonable. He was courteous, answered my questions and his work fixed the problem. I won’t be calling anyone else for my hearing and cooling needs."

"We had many issues with our computer - primarily with the CD/DVD drive and iTunes. Jim eliminated over 700 viruses from our computer, which was just the beginning. There continued to be problems within the systems of the computer. Luckily Jim charges by the job and not by the hour because he worked a LONG time to make it all work.  He kept in touch with me and addressed each issue as it arose until the job was done.  He was professional and courteous and hung in there until I was satisfied he had addressed everything. I would highly recommend Jim and will definitely use his services in the future, as needed.

"This is a touchy question. Once the technician talked to Choice Home Warranty "it was" going well for replacement of washer, but, when they offered $178.00 I was totally floored. Where am I going to find a Kenmore of equal quality for that price? So, as of today we have a non working washer. But, with confidence in Choice am sure it will end with a good relationship. If not we have another avenue at hand. I must say that when I lived in California I had the same coverage, had the entire heating & a/c system replaced for the price of a service call $70.00. No question it was amazing to have THAT coverage then."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

At J & R Heating, we understand boilers and radiant heating better than anyone! Boilers and radiant heat systems work by distributing the heat produced by boiling water through pipes that either radiate the heat or give off steam. In older homes, steam radiators are the most common form of heat distribution. The technology has been around a long time, and the systems tend to be efficient and render a home virtually free of allergens, since they do not use a blower and forced air, which send dust and allergens throughout home via your ductwork. We are experts on old boilers, as well as new radiant heat systems. We will gladly advise you on the benefits of keeping your old boiler running. Sometimes conversions or upgrades will help with efficiency and safety, but often a good cleaning and some consistent maintenance is all an old boiler needs to keep your home comfortable and your family happy. We look forward to earning your business!
