The line had been replaced about 12 years before, but they cut corners leading to our problem. The line replacement team was amazing. They ran a new, parallel line into the house above the previous leak. They also were able to tell me why we were having problems with the leak and through our wall from the old line. The difference in quality between the two was quite clear. They installed elbow joints instead of bending the copper, rerouted our pressure regulator in front of all other outlets (another mistake, wrapped the copper line with heavy tape before running it through the line so the wall wouldn't rub, and then pressure sealed the wall from both sides.
