"Keep Smiling sent me Roy Wint and I'm very glad they did. Roy installed a replacement ceiling fan as well as four recessed lights. The result of the project is a much better lit and livable living room. I want to extend special kudos to Roy. He was very professional, polite, and friendly. A joy to have working on my home. He went out of his way to avoid creating any holes in the ceiling other than those housing the lighting fixtures. And he also did a safety inspection of my home's fuse box. I can't say enough good about this young man. I'll definitely be calling him the next time I need electrical work done in my home."

Roto-Rooter is America's Largest Plumbing and Drain Cleanng Company. We offer 24 hour services with no overtime or after hour charges. We also offer convenient finance options

"BUYER BEWARE! Had a pipe leak within my wall. Caught it fairly early with minimum damage. The Roto Rooter rep Brian came out and inspected and said I needed water mitigation based off the moisture in my walls. When I say the leak wasn't that bad, it really wasn't! He stated that my insurance company would cover it all and that he deals with my particular company all the time and not to worry. I obviously was taken back by the cost of almost 4k! Fast forward, my insurance company are questioning duplicate charges and Roto-Rooter is saying I owe almost 3k or a lien will be placed on my property! This whole water mitigation is a scam and the salesman did not tell the truth. They should have picked up their fans a lot earlier than they did. I'm sure they were trying to milk all the money they could. Over 5k for a bunch of fans in my home. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THIS PLACE! Contacting my lawyer and will have my day in court if necessary. BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS IF YOU ASK ME!"

Family owned since 1989, Bardi is rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau, was awarded Business of the Year in 2013 by the Gwinnett Chamber and received Best Customer Service by the BBB. Bardi is heavily involved with the community and offers free electronics pick-up and recycling during service calls to benefit Nobis Works, a nonprofit that supports people with disabilities seeking to join the workforce.

"I requested a HVAC tech come out to my home as my AC was not working properly. The tech recommended that I get a new AC. He told me he would have his sales rep come out to talk to me about the options I would have as far as replacing it. Their sales rep showed up. His name is Jimmy, and he told me all these great things about Bardi and their products. We came to an agreement of my buying a cheap HVAC system as I was trying to save money. It would cost me 12,000 dollars for the system. The next day April 5th, 2025 their install tech came out and installed the equipment. I was at work at the time, but I had a family member there. I returned home to find out the lower level of my home was not being cooled, and they had left part of my old HVAC system connected to the new system. It was a burnt up disconnect that should have been replaced and was a major part of what was wrong with my old system. Also they used a panel cover from my old system instead of new. I asked Jimmy to come and pick up the equipment which it states I have three days to reject the equipment in the contract. He expressed that I couldn't reject the equipment after it was installed. They had a tech come out the next day April 6, 2025 to fix the downstairs not working, and he fixed it. The next day it happened to be cold outside so I turned on the heat. No heat was coming out of the vents just cool air and the fan unit was running extremely loud outside. It was so loud it sounded like the fan unit was in my room on the second floor, so I turned it off. When I did turn off the fan unit made a horrible exploding noise. Once again I called Bardi and asked them to come get their HVAC system, they refused. Crystal the customer care rep is who I spoke with. She scheduled another repair tech to come out on April 12th to look at the HVAC system. I waited the entire day and no one showed up. I finally called and the receptionist told me it was their employee appreciation day no one would be coming. Monday I received a call from Crystal their customer care rep stating she text me and told me no one would be coming, but I never received that text. She scheduled another appointment for Easter Sunday. I stayed home Easter Sunday instead of going to church, and no one showed up again. I've stated each and every time I've spoken with someone from Bardi that I don't want to do business with them but they are basically trying to force me to keep their equipment at this point. This is by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. These people are trying to rip their customers off basically. This should be illegal. I've reach out to get a lawyer to force them to remove their equipment from my home. Stay away from these people at all cost."

Since 1978, Reliable has offered home services with exceptional reliability and customer service. We offer more financing options than any other company, even Comfort as a Service, a hassle free way to get energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, water heaters, water purification even generators for a low monthly payment and all repairs, maintenance even filters are NO additional CHARGE EVER. Reliable takes care of everything. That is an UNBEATABLE LIFETIME WARRANTY.

"I had a brand new heat pump system installed in April 2023. They sent subcontractors to install it who were very unprofessional and they left bare wires hanging out of the machine and it did not look like it was installed correctly. It stopped working completely 4 times in 5 months, the last time was on October 10, service tech said, “I really don’t agree with the way they installed it “ he said the wires were barely connected so it kept losing power. He got it working again and left. Two weeks ago it got cold and we turned the system to heat for the very first time. It blew cold air. We made ANOTHER service call. The technician said that a switch had “gone bad” because, “they wear out” we explained that we have never used the heat even once, so how could the switch be worn out. Then they advised they had to order a part. Over a week later the part came in and they returned and that still didn’t fix. Now they say the compressor has, “gone bad” and when we reiterated that we have never even used it so how is it worn out they answered, “they just go bad sometimes” we still don’t have heat, they say they have to order more parts. We asked them to look over the whole system because we don’t think it is installed right and I am genuinely concerned that it is a fire hazard and they looked at it, put electrical tape on some hanging wires and left. We have had to take SIX days off work so far and buy space heaters and we are no closer to having a working system. This unit is less then SIX MONTHS OLD. At this point I have no choice but to pursue legal action. This whole experience has been terrible and has cost me hundreds in missed time at work and I’m still paying for a system that does not work."

40 years of experience

Local plumbing company with over 35 years of experience providing professional, safe and quality plumbing work at a fair price in a competitive market with customer satisfaction as as our number one priority. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express as well as On-Line Invoicing and payment options.

"On April 20, 2024, Double D Plumbing performed a repair on my water service line at the meter. Their invoice (attached) stated they “dug approximately 5 feet” and repaired the ¾” line. The job cost nearly $700. Within 14–15 months, the repair failed, resulting in massive water loss — in August 2025, the City of Monroe contacted us after noticing abnormal usage on our account and advised us that the water should be shut off. When I attempted to shut the meter valve, the meter box was completely full of water and mud, making the valve inaccessible. I contacted the City for help, but before they could arrive, I had to use a shop vacuum to remove water and mud just to locate and close the shutoff myself. When I exposed the failed joint, both my wife and a neighbor witnessed water spraying directly from the threaded connection. The failure occurred at the exact location of Double D’s prior repair. The cut-out piece left on our porch from their 2024 work shows a PVC male adapter with blue tape. That type of fitting exists only at the meter transition, proving they did in fact replace that joint despite later denials in writing. Their denial directly contradicts the physical evidence. Additionally, photographs show the section of pipe at the meter sits above the frost line, an obvious code violation. Any licensed plumber would recognize this immediately when working in that location. Instead of correcting it or disclosing it to us, Double D tied directly into that same noncompliant section. Worse, they repeated the same mistake by reinstalling another PVC male adapter threaded into the metal meter — a weak, noncompliant method destined to fail again. The invoice itself was misleading, claiming “dug approximately 5 feet,” which Craig later admitted meant linear feet, not depth. It also contained no warranty terms, no license number, and only a PO Box. Only after the fact did they claim a one-year warranty verbally, which cannot be enforced without written terms. When we called about the failure, we were told on speakerphone (with witnesses present) that they had no availability until “sometime the following week,” despite knowing we had no usable water. The office refused to provide Craig’s email address, insisted I call him directly, and ultimately I had to text Craig myself requesting his email so that all communication would remain documented in writing. Their final position was simply “out of warranty, not our problem.” Summary: • Misrepresented invoice details. • No written warranty provided. • Ignored obvious frost-line code violation while working at the meter. • Repeated noncompliant repair with PVC male adapter into a metal meter. • Left physical evidence contradicting later denials. • Unprofessional communication, refusal to provide written contact, and no timely emergency response. This repair cost nearly $700, lasted just over a year, and failed exactly at the joint Double D worked on. The physical evidence, photos, and witness leave no room for dispute. I am filing this complaint so other homeowners are not subjected to the same misrepresentation."

FAQs for water treatment & purification system repair or service projects in Loganville, GA

If your water softener is over 10 years old or if repair costs approach the price of a new unit, it might be time to replace it. Most water softeners last between 10 and 15 years. Replacing an aging unit can improve your water quality and help you avoid frequent repair costs. For a newer system with minor issues, repairing may be the best option. Consider the age and condition of your system to decide what's most cost-effective.

Water treatment systems remain dependable for 10 to 20 years with proper maintenance and care. A well-maintained system secures full performance by following a scheduled upkeep plan and professional inspections. Consistent maintenance guarantees continuous water purification, ensuring that the system operates at its peak efficiency and delivers high‑quality water throughout its lifespan.

Faulty water softeners exhibit clear symptoms that signal the need for immediate attention. Noticeable mineral build-up around faucets, discolored water, dry or itchy skin following a shower, and altered laundry texture indicate that the system is underperforming.
