His estimate was actually less than I had from other plumbers but I was most impressed with was the quality of his work. He at first planned to replace the line using the trench-less technique but after finding the soil soft from the rains, decided to do minimum digging and punching through a hard copper line. He also placed a sleeve on the copper pipe to protect it from corrosion and extend the use life. His crew was great and protected our foliage from damage. He installed it up to code with a 6 ft grounding rod. An estimate from another plumber told me I had to get an electrician to install the ground. It passed city inspection first round and after he filled in the trench and completed the cleanup our front yard and foliage looked just as good as before the job. I do a lot of my own home repair but I could not have done a better job. Highly recommend you call him for an estimate."

Of course, with any installation job, there was a small problem (that of drilling through the masonry of the fireplace, something that no one would have known).
