Overtime the completed a variety of projects, Including roof repair, remodeling kitchen and bathroom, floor installation, refurbished bedrooms. Angel Tuesta (President) offered recommendations and options as the work progressed. He even calmed my nerves when I needed to get permits for some work! "Donnie let us know when to door came in, and we waited two more weeks because of vacations for himself and his crew.  He gave us a day, and told us that the work would begin between 8:30 and 9:00.  Part of his crew arrived between 8:30 and 9:00 and got right to work.  By 10:30, the old door and surrounding woodwork was removed, and Donnie could see what was behind the dry rot.  Fortunately, there wasn't any significant damage behind.  Donnie determined that water was getting in behind the siding above the door around a second story window.  He took the siding off above the door, made corrections so that water should not get in again, and installed flashing around the door to direct any water that got in away from the woodwork around the door. <br /> The new door was installed, and Donnie and his crew even managed to re-install our storm door in front of the new door.  Donnie also identified a couple of additional spots with dry rot on the front of the house and repaired those places at an additional cost.  The whole job was done about 3:00PM. <br /> We have hardwood floors in our home.  Donnie's crew put down cardboard where they were working at the front of the house and were running a vacuum to get up the dust and mess almost continuously.  Still have to paint the new front door and woodwork, but the result looks great. <br />"

"My experience with Greystone was outstanding from start to finish. They installed a large stamped concrete patio with a block retaining wall and widened my driveway. Both jobs turned out fantastic. The driveway took extra coordination with VDOT, and Greystone worked with the VDOT representative and took care of everything. The crews were careful with my yard and brought plywood to minimize the impact of the heavy equipment and materials. When the driveway was installed they took extra care to cover it and protect it from the weather. A separate crew came after each job to clean up, both did an outstanding job. On both projects one of the owners stopped by to ensure things were going smoothly. My experience with the estimate, design, scheduling and installation and with everyone I dealt with at Greystone was outstanding. I'd use them again on any concrete or block project."

"Our HOA needed to replace a failed 60-foot long drainage pipe that ran across one our private roads leading into a cul de sac and also had to address a number of erosion issues that the HOA had been dealing with at the pipe entrance and exit for many years. The HOA solicited potential solutions and 4 bids for the job from local contractors. Full-time access for residents during the project and ensuring that all necessary materials were available in a timely manner was a huge consideration for the HOA - especially with winter approaching. HEMAX was selected because they provided a solid plan, assured material availability, a guaranteed project start date and submitted the most competitive quote. The project involved asphalt cutting, excavation and replacement of a 24-inch corrugated metal drainage pipe with a high density polyethylene pipe, installation and compaction of fill over the new pipe to specifications and the application of hot-patch asphalt to repair the road surface. The project also included: the creation of new culverts and catch basins, the establishment of a head wall at the new pipe entrance, repair of existing culverts, and providing additional fill and re-grading of both sides of the private road for safety and also to help ease future maintenance of the area. Afterward, all work was seeded, covered with erosion control matting and lined with rip rap. Throughout the whole project, the HEMAX team kept the HOA Board informed and did an outstanding job. The project started and completed on-time and was efficiently executed so that residents had full-time access to the area and were minimally affected. Each night, the work area was well cleaned and all equipment safely stowed. The HOA Board highly recommends HEMAX based on their cost and performance on this project and will definitely consider them for future work within the HOA."
