"I am still waiting for the return of my deposit as it has been a week since I put this review on hold after putting in the notice that day 24 June of cancellation by email and next day mail. As I have said before I am a disabled Vet, Senior citizen with health problems. I have copies of the emails that I sent on the days of 06/24/2023 and by next day Mail on the 27th notarized copies of the cancellation. Tried calling but went to voice mail. No work has been done so a rating cannot be done on the work, only the price. This job was way overpriced and never got the chance to compare. The salesman was a good person but I have my family doing it for thousands less."

"Recently we hired Ardmore to replace the glass in 2 of our skylights and install a new storm door. Other than rain delays the skylights were installed in less than 2 hours as Ardmore sent 2 crews for the installation. They even came inside to vacuum any debris that might have fallen into the house during the installation. (5 out of 5). The installation of the storm doors was different. It took over 10 hours for 2 men to finish the installation which I felt was excessive and felt they didn't do the installation correctly. The difference between a good company and a better company is how well they fix a problem and to this point they are doing a better job. When I called to complain the scheduler immediately suggested they send out someone to inspect the work and within 3 days someone came out and fixed 2 out of the 3 problems and said someone would be calling me and ordering a replacement part to fix the 3rd problem"

The men picking up and delivering the car have always been pleasant and cooperative. Both Ely and Guy at United Transport has been highly responsive to my needs. "The initial installation was done professionally. Unfortunately after three months the system failed. From Friday to Tuesday I was without hot water and heat and the temperature in my house went down to the 40s. It took five visits to fix the issue. The manufacturer advised that the solution called for disabling something in the system to keep that part from failing. I am worried that the system is not safe. I will be contacting the DC Consumer and Regulatory Affairs as I have no faith in the quality of this system. This company installed a furnace and hot water heater system in November. Three months later I discovered water leaking from the system; there was water all over the floor. A tech came out on a Wednesday but was unable to make the repair. The tech shut off the valve and had me turn off the system. He returned the next day and stopped the leak. Due to warmer than normal temps I didn’t realize the heat was not working and by Saturday morning the temperature in my house was in the 40s. A tech came out for the third time on Saturday but wasn’t able to fix it. I would have to wait until Monday. The tech returned for the forth time, was here for about an hour. I found out later a part needed to be ordered but would not be available until Tuesday. The tech made a repair and said he disabled a part, per the manufacturer, so the system wouldn’t fail again. I don’t have any confidence that this system is safe or fixed so it won’t break down again. I began calling customer service on Saturday when it was clear that the system couldn’t be fixed. I asked for a replacement of my system. Unfortunately the people who could help were not available on the weekend. I waited until 8 on Monday and still had not received a called. At this point I was quite angry. I finally received a call back and I vehemently expressed that I wanted a replacement system. I was told it didn’t work that way and he wasn’t in the mood to be yelled at and hung up."
