"I used Cambridge Doors and Windows Inc. a few years ago to replace my back door and door jamb. The work was done to perfection. I had Cambridge paint the door with a color to match the rest of my home trim and the paint job was so smooth that I have had guest and other contractors ask who painted the door. I also went with the high end Emtek hardware which you will not find at Home Depot or Lowes. This year it was time to replace the front door and door leading to the garage, plus the door jambs. I called Mike for suggestions as he is very good at recommending door styles to fit the style of the home. He suggested changing the frame around the door to a more current simple contemporary style and I went with it and am very pleased. I am eagerly waiting on my front door to arrive and be installed, but the garage door is in place and looks fabulous. I looked a a lot of doors from the catalogs and did not care for any of them. Mike showed me a new door that recently arrived for another client and it was 'The Door'. This is a great company!!! They may be more expensive than hiring a handyman or going to Home Depot, but the quality of the Cambridge doors, hardware, threshold and installation are worth every penny. I highly recommend this company!"

"Our doors were ten years old and really looking worn. Marvin came and recommended a color. We ended up having them restore not only our front doors, but garage doors, shutters and corbels! Taking the front doors off and restoring them in a shop is the only way to do this! They color choice was beautiful. The project was completed on time as promised. All of the doors look better than when they were new! People stop and look at our doors and continuously rave about how beautiful they look. Great job, responsive service. "I was SO happy with the service & responsiveness of Jody & team at the Door Doctor! I had a very tight timeframe to get a dog door installed in my new home in Conroe before I left for a business trip. It was not a straightforward installation so I appreciated that the Door Doctor team provided with with cost & details for 2 different options. Jody re-arranged schedules to get my installation done that same week so that I'd have it in place not only before I left for my trip but so that I'd have time to train my dogs how to use it. I am very happy with the service & I'd happily use her team's services again!"

Couldn't be happier.  Both crews (painting and floor installation) were very professional.  I love the interior paint.  We had deferred this project and the new paint and flooring really improved our investment.  Alex and George, crew chiefs, were excellent -- kept me informed and assured that we were satisfied with the end product.  Pricing was very reasonable and fair.  Mike and Erin in the office kept me updated on the projected time frames.

George identified that our floors were uneven and did the work to level them.  Now the squeak in the hallway is gone!

This is a quality company and I heartedly recommend them for any of your projects.  My only regret is that I didn't identify them earlier so that they could have done the rebuild on our stairs.  They did do the paint and stain.  The stair rebuild went okay, but would have simplified my life if I had had Silver Oaks do that work too.

Roof replacement is next on the list and I will be contacting Silver Oaks to do that work.

"HRR has performed work on a couple properties since 2014. Much of the work was to correct problems left by a previous contractor. Services ranged from floor tile, painting, a/c work, Sheetrock repair, plumbing, appliance installation, blind installation, etc. They manage change requests efficiently and provide cost before work is started. I trust Phil and his contractors with full access to the properties if I am not there.

"We received a response to our request on the same day and they came out the following day to measure. After the initial measurement and commitment to order, Sunlite Exteriors took it a step further to have a second employee re-measure the windows to double check the measurements and ensure they were correct prior to placing the order. We had 4 companies provide estimates for our window replacements including big box stores like Lowe's and a really overpriced, in home / hard sell company. Sunlite Exteriors came in a slight bit higher than Lowe's in price, but made up for it in volumes with their customer service and quality of installation. Quality installation and longevity was important to us since we plan to stay in our home. They installed the windows on the original date that was provided and completed the job in 1 day's time (we had 9 windows to replace total). We were very happy with their responsiveness along with the quality of their work and have not only recommended them to others in the neighborhood, but are planning to have them to complete additional exterior work. Note that Sunlite Exteriors indicated they only do exterior (carpentry, roofing, gutters, siding, exterior painting, etc.) and no interior work. I would always encourage people to read the reviews (and not from the vendor's websites, but independent reviews of any installer before deciding on your choice. I'm not suggesting that you'll always have a bad experience with the lowest bidders, but do suggest that everyone also consider the benefits of supporting local businesses where typically $0.85 of every dollar stays in our local Houston economy."
