Although I typically prefer paying by the job instead of by the hour, Bob was quite focused on his work and use of time. I will be asking him to return in the spring to complete a few additional repairs and install a storm door."

"It went great - Mark texted ahead to let me know when he'd be here, arrived as noted, was cheerful and efficient/highly professional. I already had the lock and deadbolt set, but it took a bit of chiselling on both the door and the frame to get it to fit properly, and he did a very neat job and was great about explaining the setup both to me and to my tenants, given the lock type was somewhat different than the busted one he removed. I'll gladly hire him again next time something like this comes up - firstrate service at a very reasonable price!"

"At the end of July of 2015, I contacted Dean and Durable Remodeling on Angie's List in need or repairing and replacing the soffit and gutters damaged by squirrels and raccoons on my house. Dean promptly replied to my request and he and I began communicating immediately. Within a few short days he and I were able to schedule a visit to my house and I obtained a quote of $4,400 to pull down the existing soffit, fascia, and gutters and replace with all new vinyl soffit and aluminum gutters and fascia. Dean and I were able to schedule a time that worked perfectly for both of us and the work began in October. Two wonderful gentlemen arrived to work on the house and immediately began the nasty task of removing all of the old soffit, which was covered in animal waste and extremely unpleasant. Both workers were super friendly and worked efficiently throughout the day. Dean came by to visit and check on the work, as well as check in with with me about the project. Every time Dean and I spoke, both in person as well as on the phone, he was an absolute pleasure to work with before, during and even following the project. Unfortunately, once all of the old materials were removed, they discovered a significant amount of structural damage in the framework of the house that had been eaten by the rodents. I had been away that day they discovered this problem, however Dean called me immediately and we discussed the situation. Although the repair was going to cost an additional $2,000, Dean carefully explained to me the options and I was more than happy to have the job done correctly despite the additional cost. The final outcome of the repair was beautiful and the job was completed efficiently and on time. The yard was completely cleared up and all of the waste was removed from the yard. Dean visited once the job was complete and we even chatted about future jobs and work that I would love to have them complete. Dean and I have continued to be in contact since this work was completed and I would most certainly use this company again. Dean and Durable Remodeling are professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Dean replies to my calls and messages immediately and he is always willing to help out. "Our experience with MA Design and Construction Co was seamless from start to finish. From the initial consult with a project manager to working directly with the owners of the company our front door project was as easy as renovations in your home can go. They were flexible about timing, communicative, and very easy to work with. We initially had our two front doors replaced and ended adding a portico to the front entrance as well. Marc, Raquel and their crew of many were able to accommodate our last minute request and finished the job with out pause. The carpenters and painters worked cleanly and did not leave any trace of their work behind, which is important for me with a dog, a few cats and small children.
