"This was a mix of good and bad as is a lot of construction I have been involved in.  Cash had great ideal on some minor reconfigurations that allowed a small bathroom to look larger.  Got off to a great start, demoing the bathroom was done quickly and carefully. However, once tile was laid we began to have issues.  I noticed chipped tile had been installed along with tile that had been cut which had very rough edges.  I would call Cash and he would assure me that things would be corrected and he did send people out to fix them.  The problem was this didn't happen just once, it happened multiple times.  I felt like I was the contractor because I was the one having to follow behind his people, point out the problems and then go back and reinspect work again and again.  I appreciate that Cash never gave me any problem about sending his people out for corrections but I wish he would have followed up himself rather than always relying on me to do this.

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Everything went great. Its obvious that Steve takes a lot of pride in his work. He doesn't cut any corners. I prepped the house myself but Steve took the time to re-calk in places that I had missed. I also had some rusty nail heads exposed and Steve took the time to go over them with an oil based primer prior to painting. They did a great job of masking off the brick and the lines are clean. They painted the siding one color and the trim another and lines are perfect. I had planned on replacing my back door because my dogs had really torn up the finish and the trim around the frame. I told Steve not to worry about painting it because I planned on replacing it anyway. To my surprise, Steve was able to repair the door and make it look like new which saved me the expense of replacing it. I could not be happier with the work they did. My house looks better than it ever has.

Overall, it went well.  We had to do the work in phases due to scheduling but it all turned out well.  Job required both traditional and innovative repair and solutions.  We were pleased with the end result and completion of all requests above and beyond the contractual terms.

"After the reappearance of some ceiling cracks, Mr. Matthews stood behind his work.  He stayed in contact and scheduled a time to come back and fix the problem.  He and his crew are very professional, conscientious and concerned with the cleanup.  While they were here, they did some additional painting I needed done.  Nice work all around.
