Therefore, I take submitting my reviews seriously and am always completely candid. With that said, I am submitting this review to express my satisfaction with the chimney cleaning and chimney liner replacement performed by Daren of Gallo's Chimney Sweep. Daren (and his brother-in-law, whose name escapes me) were both extremely professional and personable. Daren provided pictures of my chimney, which clearly showed I had a problem. "Cowan's south jersey masonry came out and fixed the top of both chimneys, sealed them and placed the caps on the top and he cleaned out the chimney. I was working and my parents were there and couldn't say enough about the two gentlemen who completed the work. "I originally called Paul to have him inspect/service our existing fireplace. He was punctual and very knowledgable and gave us some much needed information on how the system works and answered a bunch of questions for us. We then decided it might be nice to upgrade our system to something more modern (i.e. get rid of the gold trimmed glass and get a system with a remote). He recommended an awesome place for us to go to where we had an equally great experience. After the system came in, Paul picked it up for us and brought it with him for the install. "Called Christman Chimney Repair on Wednesday. They arrived on Thursday.
After inspection and cost estimation, I agreed to the work and price, and the crew started that afternoon.
A medical emergency (not job related) caused the work to be interrupted. They explained the circumstances and promised to finish the job the next day.
The next day they arrived, finished the job, billing exactly what was quoted.
The work  looks good, the flashing repair stopped the leak, as evidenced by the lack of leaking  during the Hurricane, and things appear to be in a good state.
