"I called for service around 8:00 in the morning on a hot July day. Roy answered the phone himself and we discussed the problem. He arrived around 3:00 that afternoon and was able to diagnose a leaking evaporator coil. At my request, he also talked to me about some DIY maintenance items. Roy had a busy schedule but arranged to come back in two days to do the needed repair. He arrived an hour ahead of schedule two days later and how the A/C up and running in under four hours. In addition to the work I had contracted him for, he went above and beyond, replacing another faulty part without extra charge, cleaning up my outdoor unit, and even cleaning up the weeds I had let grown up around and under the outdoor unit."

"Dan and his team just finished installing our new air conditioner and furnace.  I am very impressed with their installation, price, customer service, and promptness.  Dan received my Angie's List email at 10:00PM and had it not been so late he would have called us right away.  He called promptly at 8:00 the next morning and was here within the hour to quote the project.  We quoted a few Angie's List companies and found that Dugan Air Heating & Cooling offered the most competitive price and product for the job.  It was a bonus to learn that Bryant systems are built in our backyard of Indianapolis.  They also filled out the utility rebates and submitted them which no other company offered to do.  Finally, they were all nice enough to head over to our neighbor's house and fix their air conditioner problems free of charge on their own personal time once they completed our project.  Many thanks to the Dugan Air folks for a job well done!  I would highly recommend them to anyone with HVAC needs.

"I was disappointed that the service tech did not have the replacement faucet or garbage disposer with him when he came out. I made it clear in my request for an estimate that at a minimum, these two items need to be repaired/replaced so he should have brought them when he came. Instead, I had to wait for an hour for him to drive to the "warehouse" to pick up the items and come back. I did not see or sign the written estimate before I agreed to the quote, and I do believe I was gouged on the price, but the work needed to be done so I did not press the issue with John. Other than that, John was friendly, professional, and did a great job cleaning up after himself when we completed the work. The employee that contacted me to set up the appointment was also very friendly, prompt, courteous and professional. The lady that called the other day to see how things went was friendly and professional. For these reasons, I am willing to hire Hope Plumbing again for future plumbing need; however, I will scrutinize the invoice and demand to see the written estimate before hand."

"Our heat pump needed to be replaced and our furnace wasn't as efficient as it could have been so we decided to replace it all. After a consultation Bassett recommended a system for our house that included a furnace and standard air conditioner. We also had zones in our house but because we have an open stairway (in a not that big house) they also recommended doing away with the zones. We went with the recommendation and that first winter (last year) our house was so cold in the winter months. We were told that by letting the fan circulate all the time it would eliminate cold spots. What we didn't realize is that they never inspected or evaluated our current ductwork. It is undulated and as a result the air that circulates is always cold. The upstairs is cold and without a quartz heater in our family room, it too would be cold. We called them back to check and we were told that it seemed to be working fine. Putting a thermometer in the register said that there was heat. Later, in this summer my husband talked to them again anticipating this winter. We were told we might want to go back to having zones. It would only cost us another $1,000 or so to make that change. 

As for installation, that was done very professionally and neatly. They were prompt and polite. I would say to do your own research before Bassett ever comes and be prepared to make a decision based on that rather than what they may recommend. If I could figure out how to put that old furnace back in, I sure would. It worked much better for winter heat than this one does."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Complete Comfort has really come in clutch for us three times in this past year. They had previously replaced our old water heater last summer, then in May we discovered a manufacturer defect that required the new water heater to need replaced. Complete Comfort performed the work at no cost since we were still within the warranty period. Fast forward to last week and the water heater was out again! The same day of the issue they had someone out and discovered a backup at the main sewer line was actually causing a substantial water leak that put out the pilot light in the new water heater. The very next morning they were out and cleared the line outside of the house and we were back to being completely functional. There aren't many more frustrating home repair issues than being out of hot water and Complete Comfort has now fixed that issue for us 3 times in the past year within 24 hours of each incident! Great company to work with and highly recommend!"

Based on Angies list reviews, I contacted Allen Plumbing. Got a return call within a couple hours. David showed up the next day exactly on time, assessed the problem and had it fixed within an hour or so. He explained exactly what he believed the issue was, what he was doing to address it and why. Even gave me some tips on what to watch for in the future. Price was certainly fair and charges were reviewed.
