"The BEST phone call I have made this year for a service needed in my home was to Mirsky Heating and AIr. I called in the middle of a So. Cal heatwave because my thermostat had stopped working and I needed to replace it. How often does an AC company, in the middle of a heatwave, tell you they can come the same day? NEVER!! Except for Mirsky..Darrow told me that he would try to make it work..and he did...which I will be forever grateful!!! He checked in with me during the day to assure me that he was coming and not to leave work until he was more clear on the time he would be at my home. He showed up with another Mirsky employee named John..they were both super friendly and so helpful. Darrow found the problem and within 45 minutes, the thermostat was replaced and everything was up and running again. I can't say enough how grateful I am to Darrow and Mirsky Heating and Air...I am giving their contact info to all of my friends and will be calling them again for anything heating AC related."

"RKM made this almost a pleasure. We started with a service call to evaluate/fix the old A/C. Richard was on-time, skilled and helpful. RKM phoned to confirm appointments and sent email messages to keep us updated re: arrival times. When new equipment was needed - Robert helped us navigate the choices and design a system that was a more efficient Energy Star rated unit that met our needs at a price we could manage. We didn't need financing but, that was available as a reasonable option. Proposals, invoices and equipment brochures were all sent in detailed & easily understood email messages. Installation of the new system (furnace & A/C) went smoothly as scheduled. The installation team - Jonathan, Brian and Julio - were on-time, friendly and knowledgeable. They took care to protect our homes interior and yard. All of the old equipment was removed and new installed, tested, etc in one day. The new a/c compressor, made by Gorman is QUIET; It's only been 24 hours but, the house is COOL and we can't hear anything in the house or yard."

"Woke up for work and noticed a leak from the water heater. I was quoted $1500 over phone for a 50 gallon tank. Technician showed up on time and quoted me a charge of $1650. I informed him that the person on the phone quoted me $1500, he mentioned that I needed an additional overflow pipe and a round pan to be placed at the base of the tank, and that was the reason for the additional charge. I had a $50 coupon from Angies list that I was able to use. I had to go to work later in the day so I didn't have the luxury of shopping around for a better price. When I arrived at work I mentioned to my co-workers how much I was charged, my colleagues mentioned that I had paid too much! Three of my co-workers paid between $1000-$1200 for their fifty gallon tank. If you have the chance to shop around it may be in your benefit to shop around. I'd like to finish this review to say that the work was completed well, the technician cleaned up after his work very well. Customer service over the phone was good and an email I sent to them was replied to expeditiously. I suppose they're not the cheapest game in town. Hopefully the tank will last for some time!"

"Excellent service and very honest.  When I contacted Nick and explained the problem with our furnace blower, he immediately told me what things I should try to see if I could make the repair myself.  I was not able to fix it myself, but was able to identify the broken component.  When I told him what I found, I was able to send him a picture by email of what I found.  He said he had the part in stock and could make the repair.  He came out the next day and made did a great job with getting everything running again.  He communicates very well and very fast by phone, email and by text messages.  I would use him again for sure.

"The technician looked at the washing machine & found that there was a major problem with it, requiring the replacement of a very  expensive part. The cost to repair it would have been over $500, so we both agreed it would be better for me to just get a new washing machine. Normally, they charge for the service trip, but because the problem couldn't be fixed they gave me a great discount on it. I will definitely use this company again.
